Entertainment News: Fiddy Trumps His Baby Momma On Possible Tell-all; Alicia Keys, White Stripes’ Leader To perform New Bond Film’s Theme; Will Smith To Appear in Second ‘Legend’ Film

Rapper 50 Cent says he’s put the brakes on any potential memoirs that his ex-lady might release to portray him in a negative light. Fiddy, whose contentious relationship with his baby momma Shaniqua Tompkins has been the subject of lawsuits and media coverage for the past year, says he literally bought off Tompkins. “I bought the rights to her life story so she couldn’t write a book,” he says. “I seen her being ridiculous; I knew her capabilities of going in that direction, so I bought the rights.” No amount for the reported agreement was mentioned. But if Shaniqua’s smart and Fiddy’s claim is true, she will never have to challenge him on child support payments again. Fiddy’s alleged ownership of the rights could pre-empt any potential publishing deal that Tompkins might seek.

Alicia Keys is set to record a duet that will serve as the theme for the James Bond film Quantum of Solace with rocker Jack White. The leader of the White Stripes band and Keys will put their creative heads together for what’s set to be the 22nd Bond movie. The film’s set for release in November.
Will Smith reprises Dr. Robert Neville role.
Will Smith will star in a follow-up to his 2007 hit film I Am Legend. Director Francis Lawrence confirms that he’s working on the project, in which Smith portrays scientist Dr. Robert Neville. “Absolutely, we’re actually trying to crack that,” Lawrence says. “We’re trying to figure out some ideas for it, but yes, it would be a prequel.” Lawrence says it should easier to handle the New York City backdrops for the second production: “The first time you go out there and shut down 6th Avenue, it’s like, ‘How are we going to do this day after day after day?’ But by the end, it’s just like you know how to do it.” Read more about Will at BET.com’s “What The Flick” entertainment blog.

I’m glad 50 acted like a real man and took the high road and decided to shut her down. This would have gone on forever and ever. Now he can go on and live his life like she’s doing. Just because you have a baby by someone and you don’t get along anymore doesn’t mean you have to fight them forever. He has more than enough money to get her out of his face forever. Now they only need to deal with the visitation.

when ever i hear the name fiddy,fifty mr cent. i kinda yawn!!!. iam tired of criminals being made into heroes. spinning yarns and alogorical tales of thug mythology and criminality. a lot of these so-called entertainers put out a negative vibe that it is spiritually draining!!!. so oh boy got enought money he could put his money(2 million) together with other super rich stars and begin to invest in the education of our people!!! reality check, not gonna happen the record companies won’t hear of it. gotta do as the master says!!
