The married co-star of Ice Cube’s “Next Friday” and “Friday After Next” is accused of fathering a child with a Georgia woman. Comedian Mike Epps is said to have refused a paternity test or to provide any support to the child born last December. Epps has been married since 2006. The Georgia woman’s lawyer, Randy Kessler, says Epps needs to be fair: “We are not asking for the moon, we are just asking him to take a paternity test. Once the tests are completed and paternity is confirmed, hopefully, Mr. Epps will do the right thing and begin to provide for his child.” Epps hasn’t given a comment.
Corinne Bailey Rae’s husband reportedly overdosed
The husband of singer Corinne Bailey Rae has been found dead of an apparent drug overdose. A 32-year-old man was released on bail after he was arrested for “supplying controlled substances,” apparently in connection with the death. Jason Rae, 31, was found Saturday afternoon in a London apartment. Bailey Rae may not have been home at the time her husband’s body was discovered. Police are still investigating.
Well… I don’t think she just “pulled his name out of a hat.” They must’ve done something! On the other hand, I wouldn’t take a test based on an accusation alone. Only the two of them really know what went down.
Maybe he doesn’t want to take the test because 1. he didn’t sleep with her or 2. he doesn’t want us to think he did. Whateva the case it’s really none of our business. I think there should be a show where celebrities put regular folks business on blast… What have u done lately???? and do u want it to come out…
Well, i think there is alot of bogus females out here. Trust me I’ve seen them and I’m only 16. To me he’s probably like every other man; careless, not responsible, or even reliable. For the person who said wrap it up i beg to differ and agree at the same time,because if thats hi wife and he should trust her ,but…….then again it’s usually obvious when your marriage is crashing{and u know how easily women can seduct men}she probably could of told him not to wear protection and set my mans up.So until this simmers down and he talks noone can really distinguish the truth!
And secondly,why are we always str8 foward to negative things? The poor woman,Mrs. Rae,lost her husband. See that’s the thing with ppl,they’re always ready to get rowdy over something that’s merly their business,when they should be be morning the lost of a sadden soul.GOSH!

Why is he ducking the test. Sounds like he may be guilty to me. He’ll eventually have to take the test regardless even if they got suopeana him. Do yourself a favor and step up to the plate and take the test it will make you look better and just deal with whatever the consciounquess is. You’re looking like a little running scared guilty punk!!!!!

First I’d like to send my condolences to Corrine Bailey Rae and the family. Peace be with you in your time of sorrow.
Second I’d like to shake my head at Mike Epps. You know better. I agree he needs to man up and if the female is lying shame on her too.

I like Mike Epps but i am very disappointed in him i think he needs to go and take the test FACE THE ISSUE thats the best thing to do and deal with it from there. Show that he is A MAN instead of adding on to the many BLACK men who have nothing to do with their kids. Maybe thats why so many young boys and girls get caught up in bad situations in their early lives being that many of our black fathers ARE NOT THERE. MUCH RESPECT for those black men that are there for their kids. YOU are REAL MEN. Handle your business Mike in the RIGHT WAY. Its all about the child anyway not the female who shouldnt have slept with him anyway being that she made herself look bad. Women need to start respecting themselves and their bodies I dont care if he is famous. When will u see him again? On T.V.?

Mike Epps not only need to “MAN UP” but he also makes it look like he most definitely slept with this woman. I wonder what his wife must be thinking right now. To me, if you didn’t sleep with her then “MAN UP’ and take the paternity test to prove that this is not your child. I bet you any other man would take the test to prove that he is not the father. And my heart goes out to Corinne Bailey Rae in her time of need, MAY GOD BLESS YOU AND THE RAE FAMILY!
Why not take the test Mike? What’s there to lose? Yet everything to gain whichever way the coin flips ,at least everyone will have had closure. Corinne God is with you and your family, I speak on behalf of many music lovers in Jamaica we all agree with Bob Marley “One Love” girl .
