I agree with k-solo–Oprah’s MOTHER owes that boutique, not Oprah. Why should Oprah be responsible for her mother’s bill just because she has money?

I’m sure that Oprah is taking more than adequate care of her mother, and her mother should take responsibility for her own personal bills.

There are some people who have had enormous debt and climbed out of it themselves…

Just because OPRAH is a Billionaire that doesn’t mean her mother is. Oprah worked hard to get where she is now, I’m pretty sure she gives her mother an allowance and it’s not Oprahs responsibility to pay. Her mother got herself into this mess, she needs to get herself out. Just b/c ur child is a billionaire that doesn’t mean go run to her everytime you need money. It might not be an inconvenience to her, she’s not the one who owes the store.

Everybody need to do is stop blaming Oprah she doesn’t owe 150,000 HER MOTHER DOES.

It doesn’t matter if Oprah’s mother was not a great mom, what matters is that Oprah is a BILLIONAIRE and she makes a MILLION for every newly taped single show on television. Do you all really believe that paying a $150,000 towards her mother’s bill is that much of an inconvenience? She makes that from taping 10 minutes of her show. The only reason her mom’s bill is that high is because the clothing company knows that Oprah will soon pay the bill. If that was my store I would have given her $500,000 in clothes and just added interest. Yall know that Oprah’s not going to do her mother bogus like that, The company probably already has the check as we speak.
