ENTERTAINMENT: Obama Girls Living a Magical Life
January 28th, 2009Malia and Sasha Obama probably never dreamed that their stint as First Daughters would be so magical. They certainly never thought they’d actually meet the world’s favorite wizard, Harry Potter, but the opportunity presented itself Tuesday when Harry himself, actor Daniel Radcliffe, offered up a free tour of the Hogwarts Academy. “I’d like to take this opportunity to issue a public invitation to the Obamas that if their daughters would like a private tour of the Harry Potter set, I would be honored to be their personal tour guide,” he told The Daily Beast. Radcliffe described President Barack Obama as “everything the rest of the world liked about America and now likes again,” and he called him “both Martin Luther King and JFK. He is a symbol of progress, which is what we dig about this country. What you love about England is all the old buildings and such. The traditions. I love that, too. But this is what we want from you.” Radcliffe will soon begin filming the final installment in the Harry Potter series, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows. , said he was “so proud and happy” for America, calling Obama

Lets not trip off of david guys, he is a black man in denial of who he is. Black is beautiful baby! The Obama’s are an educated family who never where ghetto. Furthermore, there are many people, black and white, who gre up in the “hood” are nice, educated hard working people. David is just in need of a good therapist and a presecription.

Folks…I’ll say it again. Ignore that joker David. He will go away away once he can’t get anymore responses to his ignorance.
First the unimportant: David, your perspective of us (as African American) is really funny and laughable. If we were really like that, I think I actually would be offended. But to read your comments is pretty funny … in a sad sort of way … because it tells me how you see (and perceive us) and not how we truly are.
Now for the important: I am so impressed with Radcliffe’s offer to show the Obama girls around the set of Harry Potter. What an opportunity!!! I’m not that much of a HP fan, but I have lots of friends who are … so I follow it vicariously through them. The Obama girls have a world of opportunities that are only just beginning.
I’m also impressed with Daniel Radcliffe. He represents an image of how the rest of the world want to treat us: welcome us as allies, neighbors, friends, and family on this world stage.
Times are changing (but not for everyone, sadly), and it would be in all of our best interest to get on board with the wild and wonderful ride ahead!

The Obama girls Malia and Sasha never thought that they will be living a life of a dream and as they become grown ladies, they will have something to tell thier children. Wish the both of them luck and stay sweet little girls.
