Rev. Jeremiah Wright and Rev. Jessie Jackson should take their lead from Minister Louis Farrahkan. Decorum dictates that men of stature know when to speak and when to remain silent! Real men of substance weigh all the options and know the consequences before speaking on any subject; lest they hurt their brother. Emotion and politics are a deadly combination (note to Jesse and Jeremiah).

I’m not a muslim but I like Min. Farrahkan. I’m not a civil rights activist but I respect Rev. Jackson’s work. I am pro-black so I like Rev. Wright. All of these great black man are controversial and have a strong voice in the black community. I like Colin Powell and Bishop TJ Jakes too. All are to be considered leaders in the black community. None are perfect….neither is President elect Obama….America’s first black president.

He has done right by waiting until everything was over. The Rep party would have linked Pres-Elect Obama to him as well in a negative light. Mr. Farrahkan is a very smart man.

I think that alot of African-Americans felt isolated by the Obama campaign. However, sometimes you gotta keep quiet until you get in the place you wish to be. The rhetoric of yesterday will not work today. We are all just AMERICANS. When you go abroad, you are not black, white or green…You are simply an American.

I do think the majority feels very uncomfortable right about now. We need to carry ourselves with good etiquette and be gracious. However, if we need to defend ourselves we should not back down either. It is all in the SAY!!!
