Father Says His Little “Angel” Saved His Life

December 4th, 2008

Walter Wilson Angel Franklin

A father says his little “angel” saved his life. Walter Wilson says his little “angel” saved his life on Tuesday when a bullet raced through a Kansas City bus, nearly hitting him. “I thought it was somebody throwing something at the bus and the glass had broken,” Wilson told The Associated Press. “Then I looked up and saw the hole and was like ‘Whoa.’” Seconds before the shooting, Wilson bent down to pick up his sleeping daughter. The bullet pierced the bus and grazed his head, leaving him with only a minor injury, AP reports. Read what happened next here.

God is good! I am glad that the man and his family are safe. You know it was probably a young person shooting, we as a nation need to get our kids while they are young. I am not a parent, but I do know that once a child has no structure, he or she has a good chance of being raised on the streets. If you have children, please hug them up and give them structure, they will not be a future law breaker.

I agree w/ TT. We must teach our kids. Let them know right from wrong and what’s expected of them. To all dead beats get off ya a.. and lead by example! Those kids will save ya every time. They’ll have ya in the right place at da right time. I’m glad he’s safe and his family as well. Nothing is beter than da bond of family.

Why does God get credit when something good happens but does not get blame when something bad happens? When someone is murdered, do you wonder why God didn’t help?

Isn’t it time to outgrow myth and superstition?

WOW that is the greatest story… God works in mysterious ways. TT, unfortunately those parents who let their kids run wild won’t be reading this article.

God is good all the time. I guess this gives new meaning to all things work together for the good of those who love the Lord and are called according to His purpose. It doesn’t say all things are good just that they work together for the good.

JeJe,

Read your bible honey. GOD is as real as the smirk on your face. No myth and no superstition. JUST PURE FAITH!!!!

I agree with Seschris!!!!! When I read the article, the first thing that came to my mind was “Thank you Lord” because I know that he is the only one responsible for that man’s survival!!! I think that it is such a shame that ppl like JeJe have begun to lean onto their own understanding and forgot to give all praise and glory to the only one that is worthy!!! I understan an respect the fact that we are all granted our own opinions but posting sumthin that bias is uncalled for!!! I will pray for u JeJe.
