It would be really sad if a movie is not made because of sibiling rivalry. This is not what Dr. King was about….shame on them.

I know their father and mother would not approve of all of this bickering. It is truly ironic that the offspring of one of the biggest proponents of peace and harmony cannot come together at all on anything. They are embarrassing themselves and their namesake by not being adults in handling their disagreements behind close doors. They instead choose the public forum for their “debates” against one another and continue to feed into the stereotype that blacks cannot come together on anything without drama and in-fighting. Martin would be so proud.

DUE TO HIS FORCAST AND PREDICTION AND REVELATION (GOD USED HIM) TODAY, WE HAVE AN ARICAN AMERICAN NON TOTAL WHITE NON TOTAL BLACK, BUT A HUMAN BEING IN HIS OWN SPECIAL UNIQUENESS. If I were a person of prestige, wealth, and positive influence, I would not dare promote any project in the wonderful Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Why? Because these kids are fighting over the simplest things, such as photos and how much money one will receive. I agree they should be compensated for their father photos, writings, speeches, etc. But to air it in public in such a negative way is very unlike what Dr. King stood for. Mr. Speilberg, make a movie about Oprah Winfrey or Stevie Wonder.

I agree with the person who left a comment name D.Woods. Mr. Spielberg has money, prestige and power and suppose to be a professional . To “Air The King’s family dirty laundry” in regards to their bickering is disrespectful and shows a lack of humility on this filmmaker part. Many famous family’s have had squabbles that have not been spoken on. this film maker could of waited to things cooled off and then made a decision on doing or not doing the film on this great leader and activist of truth. Then sinply not make an comments on why he did not make the movie, if this would become the outcome of this situation. a person like Mr. Spielberg knows drama makes good movies,but he doe s need to find someone to make a movie about and let this family mend their differences in private.
