The absudity of his logic regarding why he ran over Ms. Cato knows no bounds. He wanted to hurt black people because a black person slept with his wife (I am assuming his wife slept with a black man though it was not indicated in the article). So, you run over an innocent black woman on a bike? The person he should be upset with is his wife, who I am assuming is a white woman, yet, he did not go out targeting white people with his car. Now, he is going to jail and will probably get sued by this young lady. I wonder if he will have to go in front of a black, male judge. That is what some people would call poetic justice.

First of all, it should be attempted murder. The suspect stated that he wanted to kill ALL blacks because his wife slept with a black man. The D.A. missed it on this one. Why is it that when a police officer is assaulted with a vehicle the assailant is charged with attempted murder, but this woman’s assailant was only charged with aggravated and simple assault? Does that mean that an officers life is of more value than the public’s?

Anyway, equally as interesting is this tendency with racist to lump all people of a particular race together and hate them all when something happens to them. Its important because his wife could have slept with a white man and I’m almost certain that he wouldn’t have gone on a haunt to kill all white people. We never hear those kinds of stories. Why is that? This shows a disturbing trend among whites who historically have blamed blacks for everything that goes wrong with their our this country. They take no responsibility for their hateful and destructive behaviors that sabotage our ability to live up to our potential as a nation.

Its amazing to me that we’ve spent trillions of dollars routing out and destroying terrorist all over the world because they killed 3,000 innocent Americans on 911 and indeed we should be and yet we have these home-grown versions that over the course of our nations history have been responsible for the deaths of millions of black Americans from the time of slave trading from Africa to today. No one calls this terrorism because its domestic and perpetrated mainly by whites.

Many say that race relations are better here now and that we should move on to more pressing issues. Maybe they feel this way because they’re not in the cross hairs of such hateful insanity.

I am from Florida and Florida is very racist, I agree that he should have been upset with his wife and not this innocent woman who did nothing to him, I have lived in Florida for years and I know how these white folks down here are, the excuse is that they are going to do a psychological evaluation on him, I disagree he needs to be in prison where they will give him a good azz-whipping, this man got mad at the whole black population for a black man sleeping with his wife, I can understand getting mad at his wife and the man who slept with her, but running an innocent woman who did nothing to him is unacceptable.

Cato needs to also sue him personally for pain and suffering, lost wages if she was employed, her hospital and all her doctor bills. because that was just simply unjust. if his wife turned to another man maybe there was something he was not doin in the bedroom to please or kep his wife satisfied. he needs to get some serious time for what he did. what if it was a child he had targeted cause of his hatered?
