Miles Allen

A Georgia judge sentenced a former Morehouse College Miles Allen to two life sentences plus 70 years Monday for torturing and murdering a classmate three years ago. A Clayton County jury convicted the 26-year-old theology student on 11 of 12 counts, including four counts of murder, aggravated assault and kidnapping. Allen is one of four men charged with kidnapping Morehouse junior Carlnell Walker before torturing him for eight straight hours. Prosecutors had charged them with beating, stabbing and dousing Walker with gasoline before dumping him in a car trunk outside Walker’s Riverdale home. Allen’s alleged accomplices will be tried later this month, The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports. Allen’s sentence was the maximum under the law.

wow… I live in Atlanta and attended CAU.. I did not know this took place. We have enough things against us so why on earth would this young man do this to a brother. This is awful I pray that he seeks the Lord as his crime is one of the lowest. As a people we fight everyday to survive in this world..and to take a life..Lord have mercy!

It’s really pitiful what people do to each other. It’s simply atrocious. How can someone so young be so deranged? and a theology student?????

this is sick , some black men sometimes make all the racism we recive by other races as justified because some of us are animals, i think he should have got the death penalty they get off too easily for henous crimes ,, DEATH TO HIM!!!

Dominique Said on

I do not believe in the death penalty, like the people who give him that is just as bad as he is!
Whose to say what crime is legal, and illegal, when death has the same results: stealing someone’s life, they’re not God!
In the states where they do offer the death penalty, the crime rates are up compared to that of the states without…so how is that solving anything? I do, on the other-hand, believe in a torture system…
What that youngin did was horrible, but he’ll get his…Cain didn’t get away for slaying Abel!

I am Miles cousin and although I have no sympathy for him regarding his actions because I sympathize only with Mr. Walker and his family, God is the only vindicator and Judge. If it was God’s will for Miles to receive the death penalty than all true Christians know and trust that would have been the outcome. God oversees all and with him there are no mistakes. As for society’s ignorance in blaming and persecuting an entire race for one man’s actions, that is society’s stupidity and including anyone that is ignorant enough to allow themselves to be stigmatized in such a manner. I am African American and I am smart enough to realize I am not a murderer or an animal but a human being responsible for my own actions and I look a lot quicker to judging myself rather than others. Another point to always remember, there are what you people would consider “animals” in every race,HELLO!!!

*MY PRAYERS CONTINUALLY FOR MR.WALKER AND HIS FAMILY*
