Game Responds To Reports of Misbehaving At Funeral
July 11th, 2008A rapper says he hates his feuding family members more than he hates 50 Cent.
The Game says certain family members have become his “worst enemy” after a beef he had with a cousin at a relative’s recent funeral. The rapper, who beefed with his ex-G-Unit crew leader 50 Cent on tracks, suggests that Robert “Kirky” Kirkwood and alleged trouble-makers on Kirkwood’s side of the clan are definitely not in the Game’s will. “I hate them more than I hate 50,” he tells radio station Power 98.3. Though Kirkwood filed a police report against him after Game allegedly punched Kirkwood at the funeral of Kirkwood’s sister, Game says his cousin started the static. After Kirkwood allegedly pushed Game following the ceremony, the rapper says he did “what anybody would do.” The family beef occurred because Kirkwood wanted him to pay funeral expenses, Game says.
The human race has an issue with judging, Let their family fight it out. The arrangements should have been discussed before or after the engagement. Life is difficult, especially with money!!!
There should not have been any fighting a funeral, no matter what. As African-Americans, we need to be more proactive to aviod this situation or should have waited until afterwards. Chances are that there were problems within his family BEFORE his cousin passed away. My prayers are with the Game and all of his family,and may God heal them all. May God also heal The rift between the Game and 50 Cent.
Is the Game even making enough money to offer to pay for half of anyone’s funeral? IF he offered he should pay but if he didn’t he should be expected to. I thought him and 50 were cool again!

As a person that has been in that situation, Game is not responsible to pay for anything,. People believe that just because you make something of yourself, (no matter how crazy the job), people will always think you owe them something. Anything he offered is great, but if he didnt ,so what. That is why they offer this wonderful thing called insurance so that no one else has to be responsible for you, except for, what a surprise, you! People need to stop looking for handouts, and take care of themselves. This isnt a matter of black on black crime, it is a matter of trifling people acting trifling!

In response to the black on black crime statement. All races act the same way globally. So being black has nothing to do with acting stupid. In terms of coming together as a people, it’s not going to happen. Only the ones who are trying to make a difference will come together. The haters need to be where they belong. On on the sidelines. So, with that being said. Game more than likely wanted to punch dude out anyway. He just was looking for an excuse to do so. I hope he broke his jaw.
Regardless of WHO agreed/didn’t agree to pay for whatever, it’s disrespectul to fight/argue at a funeral, no matter what race the family is (I’m quite sure that individuals of other races have gone through the same thing).
Okay, so the cousin pushed him…big deal? You’re supposed to be an adult! Walk away! Black folks seem to look for any and every opportunity to kick something off and what’s worse is they have the nerve to justify it afterwards.

As far as the Game, if he promised have he shouldnt have reneged. The cousin was wrong and so was the Game. A funeral is not a place to show your behind! And maybe he don’t have the money! I mean what hit has he had lately……some celebs have the Champagne tastes with 40 ounce budget. If hes spending more than he’s rakin’ in…..there you have it. And he was probably ashamed to just say hey “i aint got it….” so the cousin thinking he’s just blowing him off or reneging got pissed and the situation got heated!
