Giants star faces weapons charges. The attorney for star NFL receiver Plaxico Burress says his client will turn himself in to police this morning to be charged with a weapons violation two days after accidentally shooting himself in a New York night spot, The Associated Press is reporting. The lawyer, Benjamin Brafman told The Associated Press on Sunday that he was advised the New York Giants’ star receiver will be charged after accidentally shooting himself in the right thigh, Sport Illustrated reports. “I do not expect that Mr. Burress will make a statement,” Brafman wrote. A gun permit in New York cost around a total of $600. (fingerprints and all) This man makes multi-thousands per catch and can not find $600 to do things the legal way. To those that are defending people that do wrong, please wake up and become men and women and stop being boys and girls.

Ok Here is my input…some of u claim that white men break laws all the time and nothing happens to them….So what does that tell us a Black people – laws are different when it come to us..so why put yourself in a detrimental position ’cause like it or not u the 1 who is going to end up behind bars…certain things req. common sense & looking at the bigger picture.This young man has ruined his life over what…we need to factor in pros-cons in behaviours that can affect our lives, now he has to spend alot of $ in lawyers fees etc…Im sure with recession & many financial downturns some families could use that $. we have the 1st black president please let us show the world what we are made of by being positive and contributors to the our societies…Love all
