Giants star faces weapons charges. The attorney for star NFL receiver Plaxico Burress says his client will turn himself in to police this morning to be charged with a weapons violation two days after accidentally shooting himself in a New York night spot, The Associated Press is reporting. The lawyer, Benjamin Brafman told The Associated Press on Sunday that he was advised the New York Giants’ star receiver will be charged after accidentally shooting himself in the right thigh, Sport Illustrated reports. “I do not expect that Mr. Burress will make a statement,” Brafman wrote. THIS IS CRAZY. SO IF A PLAYER GETS INTO A CAR CRASH BEFORE A GAME, THIS MEANS HES HURTING THE TEAM AND THIS SHOULD BE THE LAST DRAW? NEWS FLASH! RICH BLACK PEOPLE ARE ALOUD TO CARRY GUNS TO WHITE PEOPLE. DO WE GET SCARED WHEN TED NUGENT TEACHES HIS TEN YEAR OLD SON HOW TO KILL AN INNOCENT ANIMAL? THIS STORY SHOULD BE ONE OF JEST, BECAUSE A GROWN ASS MAN CHEDDAR BOBED HIMSELF. BUT THIS ISSUE IS NOT THAT SERIOUS AND I DONT SEE HOW AN ACCIDENT MAKES YOU A PERSON OF BAD CHARATER.
I know Plaxico and I think that he is fighting so many personal demons. He needs to be in our prays instead of “crucified” through the media and the such. The thing I notice about society today that the further we advance with technology, the farther back we go with simple traits such as human kindness and compassion. There is a saying, “There but the GRACE of God go I”. People seem to strive in the misery of others because quite frankly they don’t like their own lives. Human beings make MISTAKES. So get caught and others don’t. So before all the self-righteous out there start dogging Plax, it would be suggested that a search of one’s own closet might reveal some very interesting info, both PAST and PRESENT!
I don’t condomn what happened to Plax but I will not condemn either. We are not perfect..whether we have material wealth or not. PRAY for the Brother cause you never know when something could happen to you, a friend or a family member. Peace

So what you know Plaxico, when you become a public figure your actions are open for discussion. Self-righteous my azz BET blogs are for everyones’ opionion about this particular story whether you know him or not so stop being so sensitive or just don’t read our comments.

Is anyone as tired of these overpaid, ignorant azz thugs as I am? I hope and pray that he and the others get themselves together but this is just getting old with these “millionaires” getting into so much trouble. Most men have always dreamed to be a professional athlete and part of the 1% of men who made it are always getting into some BS. I just don’t understand it. They need to work a real 9-5 like the rest of us and bring home mere pennies and see what REAL problems are.
