I rode it out in Gulfport Ms. After I helped evacuate New Orleans which is 60 miles west of me. This was in no way to storm of the century. KATRINA WAS! The repubicans are trying to spin this for their party. They effed up during Katrina. Gustav didn’t give them any gained ground. We know they wouldn’t even be speaking on it if this wasn’t an election year. I am from Team Barack. We helped to evacuate over 15k families while we watch the republican party try to sweep it under the rug and take credit for it. But if they inteview the real people they’ll get more egg on their faces. Lol We made sure they knew who we were. Try asking some of the survivors and evacuee’s. The media can never be trusted. We move like Harriet Tubman in this piece. haha
