Clarity: There is a lot of truth in what you are saying that I think we as Black Americans do need to address that has been a problem within our race for many many years. I would love to see a forum discussing these matters specifically the ever increasing racism among ourselves. We have no control over who and where “cupids arrows” pierce. Love is love and has no color. But I wonder…hmmm. Is it really cupids arrow or something more insidious that has been planted into the hearts and minds of many of our people? Is it true love for our fellow human being because he/she is compatible and has much to offer or is it the lack of love and respect that we feel for ourselves as a race that draws so many of our brothers and sisters to the opposite race? Only they can answer that question. But it does make for a good discussion.

blushus: I am puzzled about your comment to Clarity. Maybe you can clarify it for me please. At what point was he/she judging anyone? I saw it as merely a valid observation into an issue that affects us as Black Americans. Which brings me to my next point. Being that you took the liberty of using scripture to make your point I take it that you’re a Christian in which I am also. But maybe you can help me understand this 1) Why are the black churches not addressing these issues as in times of old that affected Black America? Is it because most of our churches are now integrated and the Ministers do not want to offend the other parisheners or does the churches view racism as a problem that no longer affects America? And I apologize for bringing this up but my curiousity has gotten the better of me when you said what you said. And I do not want to cast a shadow or say anything derogatory over our churches for fear of being struck by lightening either. LOL!
