I will like to see the 2 men get sentenced to death. They took a life of a man for no reason. Yeah we can’t choose someone death but we will choose these 2 men deaths. Like they choose mcclelland death. Its not right about who can or can’t take someone lifes.its about color in this case and the fact that a crime like this can get repeatedly again and cause a young man his life. If 2 black men dragged a white man by his feet connected to a truck. Those 2 black men would be dead within a blink of high. Given a death penatly with out a free trial. This whole world is screwed. There needs to be a new change for our black people. We all need to feel safe where ever we go. Justice needs to be served.

Yes, sisters and brothers, this is a terrible crime and it has to stop. Let us raise our voices and rage just as loud , about young black men doing the same thing to each other. That has to stop. Maybe they need to give the death penalty to them instead of out -in- three. Black men serve more time for robbing a 24/7 , than they do , for taking another black life. We need to work to change this. The dragging death of this young man, is unspeakable, but some of our rage has to be also directed at what is happening in our streets. The thing that really gets me is that, from the way the Justice sytem was built, these guys who did that to the victim, still have RIGHTS!!! Howcome, those two didn’t give any rights to Brandon McClelland before they draged him to death! So why should they have any rights, sad, just horrible…..I feel for the victims family.

I would 1st like to extented my coldolences to the victim’s family and hope that they find comfort. However I believe it is still too early to label thier actions a hate crime, first without considering the evidence levied against them. If this is in fact a hate crime I sincerely hope the the justice system finds their punishment to be equal to thier actions

Does anybody care that McClelland committed perjury to protect one of the men, Costley, now charged with his murder. This was a fight between drinking and thugging buddies that went horribly wrong. McClelland’s death was gastly and his “friends” deserve the full weight of the law, but a hate crime this wasn’t. There is plenty hate still flowing rampant in America and we shouldn’t dilute the gravity of that fact by trying to make a druken brawl a racial conflageration.
