HBO’s ‘Wire’ Star Must Testify At Murder Trial

Actress Felicia Pearson, best known as the character Snoop from HBO’s “The Wire,” has been charged with suspected marijuana possession after cops went to her Baltimore home last week to pursue her cooperation in a murder trial. Police found two cigars containing suspected marijuana in a bedroom, plus what they believed to be loose weed. Pearson has allegedly refused to appear as a witness to a 2005 murder. Cops say Pearson saw Steven Lashley stab three men, killing one, after an argument. She could be detained until Lashley’s September trial.

But yeah, I really have no substantive comment on this issue. She saw a murder, so she’s needed as a witness. Personal amounts of weed were found in her home. I initially thought she was selling drugs by reading the headline. But she wasn’t, so no stupid mistake was made in that aspect (I don’t like when successful individuals make dumb decisions like ’selling drugs on the side’). Nevetheless, I just don’t think weed is worth the trouble that comes with it.

Why does Felicia still live in Baltimore? Tweeds are almost completely legal in CA and she’s just wrapped on one of the best TV series in the history of TV. Just sayin is all.
