First off the show isn’t rubbing off on her! She was in the drug game before the show came out(since she was 14 years old). She then went to the juve until she was 18 and then went to Womens Corrections Facility in Bodymore (B-more) and was released when she was 23 i believe. And she met Michael K. Williams (Omar) at a club and they started talking and what not and Michael K. Williams introduced her to Ed Burns and David Simon and they had her to play the role of herself. So there lol she ain’t pretending to be nobody she ain’t she just being her. And I know this stuff is because I am a MAJOR fan of The Wire and Certain cast members (yup and they’re all dead lol how sad)

From what I understand Felicia is originally from B’more and hadn’t been out of prison long before she obtained the role on the Wire. Addiction is heavy in Baltimore City. If you ride down Druid Hill St — the brownstones are all boarded up and there are several streets like that. When crack hit Baltimore — it hit hard. People who try and recover from addiction may stay clean for a little while; however, if you remain in that kind of environment and don’t possess the strength and strong self-esteem to stay clean — you will fall back into that life. Sad, Felicia did a good job — although her acting is a large part of who she really is — or things she is — a thug. This just goes to show she has leaches around her and no one who is looking after her interest. When the Wire left Baltimore — she should have left with it and went west where maybe somebody could have written a show about female street thugs or she could have taken this opportunity to do something positive and worthwhile in her home city. Wasted time and wasted talent. They’ll probably use this to make her testify. People in Baltimore are so stupid. They don’t realize that fear is what allows the criminal element to operate in THEIR neighborhoods as well as in THEIR homes. If people start telling the truth — these punks will find something positive to do with there lives. Sad thing is — they didn’t pay attention in school. Baltimore has such a rich African-American history — makes me wonder if the youth of Baltimore know who their ancestors are.
