Michelle Obama is a positive role model. In this world some seem to think if you do not allow yourself to be just like anybody else you must be all that. Michelle represents the total black women. We start out doing what we were taught to do (make or place in this world) if we have hard or ruff edges at times, that is simply reflective of our struggles. If Michelle would have been an yes, passive, don’t make waves, or don’t stand for anything women, she would not have been true to herself. Why is it a respected thing when one graduates from high school, goes on to college (etc) becomes successful, just happens to be black, then disrespect is fair play? can someone help me understand this! What in the world do people want.

It’s the media jerks that’s trying to make Mrs. Obama out to be an angry, unameircan %#??~. Anytime a woman (especially a black woman) is strong and opinionated she is characterized as a %#??~ while a man can behave the same way and he’s considered just assertive. Double standard at work again.

I must say this over made a mistake…….. It’s Strange women are diffrent when it comes to supporting each other, they see each other as women in battle against men. And most view Ms Obama as another women rather than a Black women, this gives Ms Obama a great Image across all races and cultures. Young girls and women of all cultures will have the courage to take a chance at becoming what ever they want to become because of her Image.
