Jackson-Obama flap heats up as Jesse issues a denial

. Barack Obama’s campaign gave a swift response Wednesday to comments that the Rev. Jesse L. Jackson was said to have made to The New York Post over Obama’s foreign policy plans. The Post reported that Jackson said that an Obama White House would no longer be friendly to Israel. John McCain’s campaign seized on the remarks to suggest that his Democratic opponent would not be a strong supporter of Israel if elected president, while Jackson issued a statement saying he had been misquoted and his comments distorted.  The Obama campaign has furiously denied the charge and said it will continue to support Israel. Read his statement here.

Jesse Jackson needs to get a life. Jesse’s jealousy for Obama is shameful. Jesse I wish you would keep your opinion or comments to yourself. I can’t believe your anger for Obama. Obama is a good man with great heart to lead our Country in the worst of times. As a woman of the cloth — meaning a minister — you, Jesse disgrace God’s calling for your life. Such displayed frustration, Jesse makes me take a second look at your motives. Jesus said, LOVE ONE ANOTHER, the greatest commandment, so Jesse reexam your heart and shut your mouth.
Peace Out.

Jesse is JEALOUS. Your time has came and gone. They talk about the black women and their attitudes and tearing down a brother, Rev. Jesse has some pent up anger because he didn’t make it as far as Obama. He should be the very one in Obama’s corner encouraging him, lending support in every way to help make MLK dream’s possible. Stop tearing the brother down.

Obviously, you’re trying to get your two minutes of fame since your run for president didn’t go very far. For once, sit back and chill. If Obama asks for your assistance then just be ready to serve. To be a good leader, you must learn to be a good follower first. As a preacher, I understand the need to be in front. However, this is a time for humility and prayer and just because you’re asked to be interviewed doesn’t mean that you have to say yes.

NY Post is one of the RACIST papers in New York. New York Daily news has the most RACIST Bloggers in New York. Rev. Jackson is a let down to even give the NY Post an interview to distort. And they may have – because they are definitely a RACIST paper. So why give an interview in the first place? I’m not sure why he has to be in the limelight right now. Can’t he and AL work on getting some of these Jim Crow laws changed? If they could get one Bucked up law changed that benefits equality of all races – I would respect them for the rest of my life. But I just don’t see nothing they do, but hog the limelight off of other Black people’s misery or fame. I want to RESPECT all of these gentlemen. I really have to wonder sometimes are they Really ACTIVITST for our people.

It seems to me that Jessie Jackson is just ignorant. I have always thought that about him. He just needs to keep his mouth shut. He doesnt know what the hell he is talking about.
Jessie…Shut the hell up!!!!!

Jesse you gave Obama the idea that a black man can run for president just like Martin showed you how to get civil rights you should be proud of this blackman walking in your footsteps and takin it further. Stop HATIN and sit your old a** down somewhere housenicca.

What kills me with Jesse Jackson is for someone who claims to be so political, righteous, and always speaking about african americans standing together for a common purpose, how everything that has come out his mouth in regards to Obama has been negative. Jesse, you had a good run while it has lasted. Now take this time, relax and enjoy your golden years. It’s a new day and time now.

Gerry Said on

jESSE, your time has come and gone, you are an embarrassment to your family, to the democratic party, to the BLACK RACE.why is it so hard for you to keep your mouth shut? no one cares what you think or say except the republican party. SHUT THE HELL UP, SHUT THE HELL UP, AND PLEASE SHUT THE HELL UP.

Jesse allways had problems with the ..’Jews’.of New York City!! They gave him a hard time and also the first African American Mayor of New York.Mr David Dinkins, just like now with the possible new election of a Black man as President. Some communities are not that willing because they may think that they may lose some power and above average treatment from the Government. I think that also we are looking at a..’ monkey wrench’..being thrown at the Obama machine to divide the Jews against Mr jackson and Mr obama

Another jealous black man… Typical… The ONLY reason as to why Jesse gets so much attention, is because we give him the platform to act an a**… As long as we pay attention to him, he’s only going to continue to talk. I’m thuroughly sure that Martin would be pissed and outraged at this guy. It’s a sad situation, that this black man has so much foolishness coming from his mouth… He’ll never stop until we ignore him…

I don’t know how many people of this “newer age” actually remember Operation Push. Growing up in Chicago’s school system in the 70’s, it was a favorite place for school trips. I discovered early in life that Jessie Jackson had sold out. He has always been promoted by the media as being a spokesman for Nubian people in this country, yet he often does more harm than good. My grandfather had even suspected that he played a role in Martin L. King’s assasination. I don’t know about that. What I do know is that every time I went to Push as a kid the most memorable things for me was the amount of time they spent collecting money for themselves. Very little, if any, of which went toward helping our communities that he was supposedly collecting the money for. I have grown up these 40+ years having little or no trust in Jessie mainly because Tamahues love him so much because he talks alot and really has not helped Nubians to any great degree.

I think this is another way of distraction, since Obama seem to be doing so well in the polls, another trick by deception, do we really think the rev.
Jessie Jackson would be that dumb, to say something like that at this
point ,so far into the election. It’s another media ploy , Fox news is
running full steam ahead with this story, anything to distract us away from
the real issue the economy. Rev Jessie said he didn’t say it and his word
was distorted I believe him, don’t believe the hype….

OK Im African American….Im ashamed IF Jesse Jackson said this…especially since when he was running he made a comment calling I think it was the people of Jewish decent HYMIES!! We backed him up when this rhetoric came about….so he shouldnt be saying anything about Obama…Obama hasnt characteristically assassinated the Jews as he did…hes always said that we would as a country support the Jewish Nation. Im getting sick of OUR people shooting this man down….Its bad enough that we tear one another down on a consistent basis as is…. Listening to him…and the BOY who asked McCain…no BEGGED McCain to come down hard on your own is stupid and rediculous…Dont we understand that All of white America is watching for the disharmony in our camp??? I am so sick of listening to this crap where brothas are fighting against one another in this political arena for their own personal gain….GET OVER YOUR EGOS AND PULL TOGETHER…THIS ISNT THE TIME FOR DESCENSION…..ITS TIME FOR UNITY!!!
