Janet Jackson cancels more shows.
A doctor has reportedly ordered Janet Jackson to put her “Rock Witchu” tour on hold again on the day that she was to resume her shows in New York. Jackson had canceled a date in Connecticut this past weekend. The performer’s first North American tour in seven years has been plagued by poor ticket sales and Jackson’s undisclosed health challenges – plus whispers that her health is being used as an excuse to avoid the embarrassment of empty arena seats. Jackson was rushed to a Montreal hospital before her show in the city last month, but she was released the next day. The singer has also postponed this week’s concert at Madison Square Garden.

Maybe it’s possible that she may be pregnant,and it might be a high risk pregnantcy…or it could be exhaustion due to pregnantcy..who knows..If I am right I will be very happy for her
That’s what I heard too!!! I am happy for her if she is pregnant. But if she’s just embarrassed by ticket sales then come out and say so, and then cancel all of the rest of the shows. People are already mad, and I would be too if I was paying over $100 to see a show that will be cancel with in a couple of hours before her performing.

BET is so dumb, who writes these articles??? Janet does not have a show at Madison Square Garden this week, its not until Nov. 1st. The show she cancelled this week was in Verona, NY @ the Turning Stone Casino.
I think Janet is really getting some bad publicity. She is not the one who’s canceling her shows, it’s the concert promoters. No promoter can go on with a show with very few tickets sold a week before, because there is no guarantee that they will sell enough tickets to offset their costs. If the promoter’s concert venue holds seats for 18,000 and only 8,000 tickets are pre-sold, he or she can just say the concert has been postponed to save money. The promoters are responsible for staging the concert, transportation, labor and accommodations costs for the artist and crew. The tickets prices for her shows are expensive and that obviously plays an integral part concerning the low advance ticket sales. I’m sure if the promoters had Janet’s money deposited into her bank account prior to stepping on stage, it wouldn’t matter to Janet if the concert arena was full or not. She would still bring it for 2 hours or more. No one should expect Janet or anyone else to work for free!

If the poor ticket sales is what’s causing all the concerts to be canceled maby Janet might want to consider touring with another artist. Win Win all the way to the bank….
The ones who think she would do this because of poor ticket sales, or because she is pregnant. ARE NOT REAL JANET FANS. We know her, if you’ve been her fan since the begining, you know that she wouldn’t do something like this unless, something was seriously wrong. I am nervous that this is a big health problem, and I think Janet needs to work on getting healthy. She sold out in Los Angeles, and in New York, so she is still selling out tickets in major arenas. Something is wrong with my girl, and ya’ll just coming up with stupid excuses. Janet you’re in my prayers honey, please get better, thats all that matters.

Ann, your great idea is already being used by Janet because she chose LL Cool J as her opening act. I thought LL Cool J was also a perfect choice because he has been around for years and his core fan base (30 someting females)has the income to purchase the tickets even in a weak economy. As far as Janet is concerned, something is really wrong because her and Live Nation are both loosing money. Get well soon!

you people need to stop hating on janet. people get sick all the time. janet always puts on a good show. she is one of the top performers out there. i would pay how ever much to go see janet. she is a great dancer and you will get your monies worth. so i wish ever one would stop bashing her all the time. she is human like us and we all get sick. janet you still got it. i cant wait till you come to Kansas city, MO. i cant wait to see you in concert. im glad you are better and back on tour again. keep during your thang! put god first and dont let no one tell you other wise.
