Jay-Z to Perform at World Series

It looks like “America’s Pastime” will share the same stage with America’s favorite rapper.
Jay’z and Alicia Keys will perform their hit single “Empire State of Mind” at Yankee Stadium in New York this Wednesday to kick off the 2009 World Series.
The song has been adopted by the New York Yankees who will play defending World Series champions, the Philadelphia Phillies in the best four out of seven series.
“Thank the good Lord for making me a Yankee,” Jay-Z said in an interview Monday.
I wonder if Will Smith will perform when the series goes to Philadelphia??????

That is some bulls%!t what about the people in Columbus,who has been waiting on him to peform here? We have been waiting and now is he or is he not peforming here,That was last min.or the first we hearing about him performing anywhere else,All I know is he is letting a whole city down,by choosing them over something he had already said he was doing here,People already called off from work paid off babysitters just to 4 him 2 say ,Oh ya”ll aint that important,but f.y.i New York is not the only city whos loves u and have been a fan since Can”t knock the Hustle,in the song Alicia is singing I luv NY but Hell we luv Jay-z………….
