Entertainment: Jennifer Hudson is Back to Work

December 26th, 2008

Jennifer Hudson

Jennifer Hudson is back to work. With the Grammys rapidly approaching, Oscar-winner Jennifer Hudson has announced that she is ready to go back to work. The “Dreamgirls” star has been away from singing and acting as she mourns the murder of her mother, brother and nephew. The three family members were slain in October. Hudson is slated to perform at the 2009 MusiCares Person of the Year gala in Los Angeles on Feb. 6. The event is just two days before the Grammys and will be Hudson’s first public appearance since the tragedy. Hudson is competing for four awards, Best R&B Album. “It’s been a childhood dream of mine to release an album, so to receive four Grammy nominations is truly a blessing,” she said in a statement following the nominations.

After such a tragedy just before the holidays…we should all hug our loved ones just a little bit tigher…

I totally agree seschris, tragedy’s such as Ms. Hudson’s and others helps you to appreciate your family more and not to let little things break up your family. My mon and I had a big argument before the holidys, I refused to make up with her only because I knew I was not in the wrong, but I learned that YOU sometimes have to be the bigger person and just forgive and show your as well. You can’t let anyone or something come between someone you love, besides I would be a total wreck if something happened to my mom and I can ONLY have one mother!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I know Jennifer was very close to her mom like I am, I can’t imagine what she is going through but GOD has her, so I’m glad that she’s back at work. I know that GOD is blessing her, I pray very much for her to be very successful in any and everything she wants in life. And with A BLESSING VOICE like she has, she will make it!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I ca’t wait to see her new video for her next single, if it isn’t love, I really love that song, her whole album is really nice!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
With that being said, May God Bless You Jennifer and Your Family !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I look forward to see and hear great things about you and your success!!!!!!!!!!
Peace: Your #1 Fan!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
