Jennifer Hudson’s Brother-In-Law Arrested

Chicago Police have arrested William Balfour, the estranged brother-in-law of R&B Singer and actress Jennifer Hudson. He will be charged with three counts for the October slayings of Hudson’s mother, brother and young nephew, authorities said today. “He was released to Chicago detectives,” Chicago Police Department spokeswoman Monique Bond said. Balfour, 27, who was married to Hudson’s sister Julia, was a person of interest after the slayings and was detained and questioned by police but not charged. Balfour, who was also imprisoned for violating his parole on a previous attempted murder conviction, was scheduled to have a hearing on Wednesday. Police did not reveal the evidence that led to Balfour’s arrest but he now faces charges for the slaying that tore the Oscar winner’s family apart and grabbed the attention of the nation in late October. Balfour will be charged for the shooting deaths of Hudson’s mother, Darnell Donerson, 57, brother, Jason Hudson, 29, and 7-year-old nephew, Julian King. Donerson and Jason Hudson were found shot to death on October 24 in Donerson’s home on the South Side of Chicago. Four days later, Hudson’s young nephew’s body was found in a stolen sport utility vehicle parked and abandoned on the West Side of the Windy City. A gun reportedly used in the slayings was found close to the SUV.
Im with you on that Amparo I was saying the same thing how can u be some Calm & Collective about loosing your son. She showed no remorse or anything. But I thank God they found who did it.

This is a sad ending, but I’m glad the found out who committed those murders. It’s sad that it was a family member…so sad….I pray for them to have peace. I just wonder how the sister feel knowing that she married that person. It just goes to show you that you have to be careful whom you let in your home and around your family members. This is going to be so hard to get over,,,,

this coward need to be put to death in a hurry.but since he murdered Black people he might get life. stanley williams didn’t get the death penalty for the numerous Blacks that he may have murdered, he got it for killing two Asian and one White boy. The death penalty need should be used on a daily bases, because more Balfour’s, Tookie’s are in training as we speak.

I dont understand why it took so long, but I’m glad that he was caught and now going to do time for it. His mother knew her son was guilty, but I guess like any mother she was defending her son, but any I feel so much better I felt like it was my family.

That child was just 7 had nothing to do with this and died becasue of what a person that cares about no one or his self. I pray for the Hudson Family. They need to give his a$$ the damn chair let his family see how it feels.
Ms. Hudson, just keep praying because god do here you. He’s hands is on the love ones you lost , and what we do is to keep the faith of the lord because that’s what your mother and other siblings would want you to do. (love and pray Lol)
Jennifer, someone wrote here that ‘God Took Your Family’. I disagree with that. My mom was killed in the same way and I was there (but asleep). Evil took your family because yes there is God in this world but there is also evil. God gave us the ability to make a choice: choose Him or the world. The person who killed your family did not choose God’s way. This person chose ‘the worldly way’. So please dont ever think that God took your family away in such a heinous way (because God dont have people’s mothers killed/My Lord do not have that done).
