Jennifer Hudson’s Brother-In-Law Arrested

Chicago Police have arrested William Balfour, the estranged brother-in-law of R&B Singer and actress Jennifer Hudson. He will be charged with three counts for the October slayings of Hudson’s mother, brother and young nephew, authorities said today. “He was released to Chicago detectives,” Chicago Police Department spokeswoman Monique Bond said. Balfour, 27, who was married to Hudson’s sister Julia, was a person of interest after the slayings and was detained and questioned by police but not charged. Balfour, who was also imprisoned for violating his parole on a previous attempted murder conviction, was scheduled to have a hearing on Wednesday. Police did not reveal the evidence that led to Balfour’s arrest but he now faces charges for the slaying that tore the Oscar winner’s family apart and grabbed the attention of the nation in late October. Balfour will be charged for the shooting deaths of Hudson’s mother, Darnell Donerson, 57, brother, Jason Hudson, 29, and 7-year-old nephew, Julian King. Donerson and Jason Hudson were found shot to death on October 24 in Donerson’s home on the South Side of Chicago. Four days later, Hudson’s young nephew’s body was found in a stolen sport utility vehicle parked and abandoned on the West Side of the Windy City. A gun reportedly used in the slayings was found close to the SUV.
I’m so happy that the family has now got the closer they needed and the man that did this will pay for what he did to a wounderful family.. i’m happy that justice will be done and i hope that the family can stay strong and keep their heads up and know that he’ll get his when he got to go before god himself and answer to him on why he would do a thing like this and hurt three people that nothing to do with his anger ..
That’s a shame…I just think about the whole family and especially the Jennifer’s nephew, he was just a baby. But, it’s good they got the killa…the truth always comes to light!

The sister should also be charged she was too calm in loosing her child. Even before the body was found she spoke about him in past tense as if she already knew he was dead!there is more to this story then we know!

OMG! I’m perturbed that it took this long, but I am glad that he has officially been charged with this horrendous crime. I hope the evidence that has been obtain is suffice to conclude a conviction. All I can do is to continue to pray for this family. GOD BLESS!
I just hope and pray that they have the right person and that they still continue the investigation, this is what happens when people idealize DRUG DEALERS AND DRUG DEALERS MAKE DOPEFIENDS that rob and killl .
I pray for Jennifer and her family as they prepared for the trial. I know this has been a difficult time for her family.

WOW…They suspected him all along. Glad to here that they found evidence and arrested him. How could he have done something sooooo cold especially to that innocent 7 year old child. It’s all still so heartbreaking for them to lose three people who meant so much to them and to lose them all at once.

This is one of the saddest public stories this year. I don’t know if this dude really did it, you know the police have to make an arrest on a high profile case like this and it doesn’t neccessarily mean that they care if they get the right person just a conviction. My heart goes out to all of them and may God have mercy

God works in mysterious ways………..there was no way he was gonna get away with that, look at this fool’s track record! Lol, and to be honest, i don’t think it should’ve taken this long to get a conviction…..All the evidence points directly at him, but I guess he was still presumed innocent until they came up with some concrete evidence to charge him………..I’m glad though. Now, there can possibly be some closure to this horrible situation. My hear goes out to Jennifer and her family. There is no greater pain than loosing a loved one. My prayers go out to you. Just stay strong, and God will handle the rest.

I am annoyed that they say they finally made an arrest. They had him all along, even Stevie Wonder could see that he did it. He had the motive and they had the evidence. Unbelievable.
