wonder why so long to arrest this guy. I do not believe that he acted alone in this horrific crime. I also believe there is more to this story than meets the eye. My heart goes out to Jennifer and her family, I just lost my daddy the day before thanksgiving, and I can relate. We all must keep her in our prayers daily.

This is one of the most poorly written articles I have ever read. The sentence structure and continuous use of the same words and phrases is a slap in the face to the Hudson family. If you are going to report news to the public in a way that does not befit the seriousness of the topic.

Besides that, I am not too shocked that he was arrested. He has been suspect #1 since the day I even heard they were missing. I didnt want to jump to conclusions or assume that the police had not fully done everything in their power. Due to the sensetivity of the case, I understand not releasing what made them arrest Balfour, it is respectable.

I am very glad that the police have finally brought some sort of closure for Jennifer Hudson and her family. It was a tragic event. It took a while but the police were diligent and finally got the evidence they needed—I hope justice is served (life sentence-never seeing the light of day again)! My prayers are with Jennifer Hudson and her family for strength to make it through this difficult time in their lives.

Bottom line is we (USA) need to resort to the punishment enforced in the third world countries. Put that on the voting ballot to be considered! The crime rate is down in other countries because of capital punishment. If we STOP rewarding the criminals for unacceptable behavior, just MAYBE they might think before acting out!
I don’t want my hard earned dollars to lodge, feed and clothed this murdering FOOL and none of the rest! There is no regard for life! The knuckle heads have no limitations. They cross all lines! There is no respect for the law officers, elderly or children.

I just hope and pray… that they got the right guy. I know that they had a lot of pressure on their department to find the killer… and I feel so sorry and sad for Jennifer’s loss’s. I just hope that they did not just pick someone to try and convict to put the case behind them.

I’ve read some of the comments and we shouldn’t rejoice in this. Thank God they got who did it but it doesn’t make it easier on their family. Three precious lives were still taken from them and no arrests made will replace the lives lost. Lets just pray that they find peace. Keep them ALL in your prayers. You or I would never have believed that someone that close to the family would have done this but one thing for sure is that is has some closure.
