Judge Rules Against Katrina Class-action Strategy
December 30th, 2008A federal judge on Monday denied an attempt to lump together in a class-action suit thousands of Hurricane Katrina victims who were exposed to poisonous fumes in trailer homes issued by the government. U.S. District Judge Kurt Engelhardt said that each person’s claim is unique and cannot be bundled with the claims of other alleged victims. The Federal Emergency Management Agency has acknowledged that the trailers had unsafe levels of the preservative formaldehyde, which can cause cancer and other ailments.
This is just unhumane and shows how racism is so deep we will never get over it, we as blacks have to fight a million battles, because white people are all in this sad situation together so they up hold each other for the most part, we are going keep fighting for what’s right. BLACK PEOPLE PLEASE STOP FIGHTING AMONGST EACH OTHER THEY ARE THE ONE WE HAVE A WAR WITH, WE CAN WIN BUT WE HAVE TO WORK TOGETHER WITH SAME COMMON GOALS.
I agree Jacqueline black america stand up and fight , come together as one if we did that and stuck with it, oh my goodness look how we came together for President Obama, we got them scarred now they shaking cause you know why we are a strong nation lets take our shyt back.

There should be no need to remind or mention, that WHITES and BLACKS were both living in these trailers provided by FEMA.
Jacqueline is on point when she says “WE HAVE TO WORK TOGETHER WITH SAME COMMON GOALS”, but lets not forget our neighbors. The way our future is heading on January 20th 2009 we need to continue to unite for a common goal…. Blacks and Whites!!!
And if you truly look into the start of the legal proceedings, they were started by a white person who felt they were mistreated by FEMA! Someone looknig out for their neighbor, not just because of their skin color

i agree that we should come together and fight together as a group.
Hopefully this doesnt happen again and our goverment will act in a more timely manner
