He should be able to because that is his education. He had to earn that, and he has already been punished with time taken away. That should be enough. If this is how they punish liars, then the goverment system should all be brought up on charges.

After reading some of the comments posted here thus far regarding Mr. Kirkpatrick, he put his own license on the line for sex/pleasure and he didn’t care. Yeah, they should not take his law license. I thought that was a bit odd when I heard about it. What he did had nothing to do with his license. He has given up being mayor and that’s all they should have fired him for. And, doesn’t disbarrment have a trial of it’s own with the bar association? He messed up, (not nearly as much as some—Look at Spitzer in New York who was paying for his frolicking with prostetutes with state money…he lost his job, but no charges were filed.)
