He may be right in terms of the law, but outside of it he is dead wrong. He lied under oath…do you think that is ok? You probably would lie too under oath or to the police. The man was not good for Detroit or for his family, I am a Detroiter and have lived here all of my life, i had two encounters with the former mayor, he through he was bigger then the LAW, and the City of DETROIT. The citizens gave him chance after chance, he failed time after time. So he got what he deserved, kicked out of office. Now for this law-suite, the fact is he used tax payer provided equipment and the law said that we the citizens had the right to here the know what was in the texts. So the former mayor needs to just admit he was the fool here, on one else, pay the city of Detroit the money that the judge said and move on accepting the fact that he is responsible for what has happen to him.
