King’s Son Delivers Counterpunch To Siblings
August 21st, 2008The youngest son of Martin Luther King Jr. fights back
Two children of Martin Luther King Jr. have been sued by the institution their mother founded, under allegations by their brother that they have used The King Center for Nonviolent Change for personal gain. Dexter King, the center’s chairman, filed the lawsuit Monday against his brother and sister, Martin Luther King III and Bernice King, in a countersuit to the one his siblings filed against him earlier this year. Dexter says his siblings have established foundations in direct competition with The King Center for Nonviolent Change, according to The Associated Press. Dexter King also says in the lawsuit that his brother used the center without permission to meet with then-presidential candidate John Edwards in January 2008. In July, Bernice and Martin Luther King III sued their brother to force him to open the books of their father’s estate.
If you check your scripture, you see it says that the LOVE of money is the root of all evil.
Be that as it may, these children are shaming their mother and father (two very loved people) with all their in-fighting. What they need is a strong talking to, and a good a$$ whipping!

What has happen to the King Children is what happen to me and my brother and sister money my mother lefted to me in an insurance I was never told about it. And when I did get the check my brother and sister who confess to be christian have not spoken to me since 1962. I have tried to get along with them but they have distance themselves and I have gone on with my life. Money can really make people/christian go crazy that mean green the almighty dollar.
This just goes to show you how the younger generation has no morals and no tradition. And generation after generation its getting worse! This also goes to show you how we have no real leaders left in the world to carry out the real life values. DANG ON SHAME!!
Such a sad situation and who would have ever thought that the efforts of their Father & Mother would have boiled downed to this! Sorry, Mr. King.

I think this should have been settled among them and not the media. When will we learn the media does not care about anything but a story. I thought the King children had a better relationship with each other to solve their differences with each other. Don’t let money tear your family apart. Your father fought to hard for unity, and togetherness. DONT LET HIM DOWN.
