There is no way they are going to get what their father’s & Obama’s likeness sells for b/c it’s millions I suspect with the street vendors making a living. If they want a piece of that, they too should design their own Dream merchandise coming from the King Foundation. Their parents have made them wealthy beyond anything, why make the dream look like it’s about money only?

I think it is sad that everytime Dr. King was in the news it was for the good. Now evertime the King name comes up its over something that would make the great leader hold his head down. I promise you that Dr. King would have ever thought that his children would run his name in the ground. King children keep your name a proud one and not one only gossiping people use.

It’s ashame that during one the most prolific years of our lifetime due to struggles of their father that they are still crying about money as if they are all not wealth based off their father lagacy. Dr. King gave his son his name for a reason, to see that his dream and legacy get its just reward. It has, but he is making a big mistake and taking the rest of them along with him. Dr. King didn’t stand for money he stood for equal rights, that we all have a chance no matter who we are and that we all need to get along. I really think that they need to go back to their childhood and really realize just what their father was trying to teach them and try to show them how to be as black men and women. I think that the only thing that we can do is pray for them that they get back to where their father was and learn the true meaning of what their father stood for.

everytime i hear about the MLK kids i just get so upset because its always something with them, they are just so damn money hungry & you would think that being the kids of the great martin luther king jr. they would have a better rep.! May I suggest the King family make there own T-Shirts, Key Chains, Calendars etc and sell them in the King Center. Why try and take from people that are making there own living and what are they making per Item $5.00? If that much. Stop Disgracing the KING name. Stop fighting over money. I”m not a big fan of greed. The timing for them to do this does seem poor, but let me pose these ideas to you. I think it’s kind of funny that you ALL are saying the exact same thing.
. First off, there are many people quoting the bible by saying “money is the root of all evil”. How do we know that the King family is not going to use this money for something good? Maybe they do not agree with everything Obama promotes. Maybe they are happy that there is a black president, but they may disagree with some of his policies. Perhaps they feel that he may not represent his dream fully. HIs dream was for ALL people, not just African Americans, to be free and successful in this country. There are still people that have no voice. There are still people who’s rights are pushed aside. We are assuming that it’s just to “make money”. The bible says not to harshly judge, yet ye shall be judged. The bible also so says, “Though shall not kill”. Would Martin Luther King Jr. have been pro-choice? We cannot say for sure, but the rights of an unborn baby to live will not be a dreamed lived under this new president. I’m glad that at least one step forward has been taken in this country, but at the same time we are still not “color-blind”. I can’t believe someone actually said that “we” are going to “take over”. I want a black president that wants freedom, happiness, and liberty for all.
