Lil’ Wayne Says He’s Addicted To Codeine

Lil’ Wayne says he indulges in the popular and dangerous southern practice of drinking 
cough syrup to get a codeine high – and no one should expect him to quit. The recent death of Wayne’s fellow southern rhymer Pimp C was ruled an accident, due to codeine and a sleeping sickness. But Weezy says he doesn’t even want to hear the warnings. At a recent concert, Wayne vented: “Everybody wants me to stop all this and all that. It ain’t that easy. …You gotta learn how to stop, you gotta go through detox. You gotta do all kinds of stuff. Like I said, I’m a selfish-ass ni**a. I feel like everything I do is successful and productive. It’s gonna be hard to tell me I’m slipping… ‘This ni**a is making progress. He just went and talked to kids and that sh** was amazing.’ Feel me? So what am I doing wrong? Let me do me. Everybody’s got their thing. Why focus on me? Don’t compare me to no one. Don’t compare me to no one who has passed, and why they passed. I can walk out this b**ch right now and get hit by a bus. Don’t judge me. You wanna judge me? Put on a black gown and get a gavel. Get in line with the rest of them that’s about to judge me. I got court dates every other month.”

i feel what lil wayne is sayin but we as the fans dont want anything to happen to him i love his music and i want it to continue but if anything happens to him we cant another wezzy u feel me and me being from the south you know from H-TOWN were alot of people sip that lean there are a lot of people that get hurt from that and its stupid

I am leaving a comment because i am a lil wayne fan and care what happens to him, think about the children, get help, move forward that simple, they say its hard to be sober, then i would like to know what is so easy about being an addict?
lil wayne just has to come to grips with what ever it may be that he is running from or what ever it may be that he is hiding from with in him self he is a good guy he needs more possitive people that he can talk to around him baby it will be okay keep your head up

ITS UNFORTUNATE…THAT HE FEELS THAT WAY, I UNDERSTAND THE CONCEPT AS FAR AS BEING JUDGED AND BEING HIT BY CAR OR BUS….BUT BEING AN ADDICT HE HAS NO CONTROL,,,AND HOFULLY HE DON’NT HAVE TO HIT ROCK BOTTOM TO REALIZE THAT HE HAS SUCH AN INFLUENCE ON THESE YOUNG KIDS HE SHOULD WANT TO TRY IF NOT FOR HIMSELF FOR HIS KIDS AND FOR THE YOUTH THAT LOOKS UP TO HIM !

what’s that I heard about lil wayne? What you think you are addicted to cough syrup codeine? What’s wrong with you? Let it go,leave it alone, it’s no good for you. If that does not help you any, you probably need to enroll into some type of drug rehab center. You know something like going cold turkey. Well you better get off of it. Well good luck!
