You have a job paying minimum wage and they tell you to pay half of that to child support. You miss payment and off to jail you go over and over again.

I’m not surprised by this action, I see inmates twice a week who are locked up because of child support. I knew it would finally come to this..This should not be a surprise to anyone. Sad yes it is but when you kill all hope what to you do.

Unfortunately this is what happens when you have a dysfunctional system in place designed to punish men for having children with women they aren’t with, for whatever reason. The whole system in this country is not geared to the benefit of black men or their community so something like this doesn’t surprise me. If people are actually doing these things you can only imagine how many are thinking about it. I am not a supporter of the government interfering in peoples lives the way it does. If the government should interfere it should do so fairly. Between the laws, homosexuality and women taking jobs from men saying that they don’t need a man the black community is slowly being destroyed. It’s only a matter of time. What is needed is Reforming the Child Support laws for a start!

Where was the protection of the child after the threat was made? Did the judge, police not take him seriously? Obviously a mistake. Did anyone think he was caucasian before opening up the picture. 75% of all child support cases are never collected on and even more nover collect in full…even after extensive child support enforcement measures are taken.

This man is pure evil, how do you kill your own flesh and blood? but just know that the other inmates will take care of him even though it might not be right this is what he deserves. Even if you give up your rights to see a child..you are STILL responsible to pay! It is the law. Just because you don’t want to see the child doesn’t mean the child doesn’t still need food, shelter and clothing.

I feel as though people should spend more time trying to save their relationship for their children instead of being selfish and wanting to live their own life. People don’t really care about each other the way they used to and this story shows it because if you’ll kill a baby, you’ll kill anyone. There was a similar case to this one when I was out in Houston, Texas when a man killed both his kids because he didn’t want to pay some kind of drug dealer. What is really happening to our people?
