true floridian one of the old skool rap fans
I’ve never been a rap fan, but the loss of MC Breed is a loss. A man who dying of natural causes at the age of 36 is not natural. It’s a tragedy.
An insensitive post from an ignorant individual (whose literacy is questionable) that refers to this young man who has died as “MAGGOT FOOD.!!!!!!” is absolutely out of line.
This is sad news, but of gratitude that he has to suffer no more. I loved MC Breed. He was a great rapper. His talent seemed natural not made up like some of the artist today. My prayers are with his family and friends. I’m still in shock a little, too hear about someone so young losing his life to health problems. People let’s go to doctors and get ourselves checked out on a regular. Much Love, GOD Bless!!
“FROM GOD-ALLAH WE CAME, & TO HIM WE RETURN!” R.I.P. MC-BREED! All I can say is: We had a ball when you came to do that concert at ARNEILLA’S NIGHT CLUB in Saint Paul, Minnesota on the ‘Night of Super Tuesday’ the day Obama won the election!! I was appointed to be Personal Security for him & we had last took a pose together last at the end of the night. This picture would be posted onto my Myspace Page as well. My prayer & condolescence goes out to his family member’s as well.
As-Salaam-Alaikum to you ma’brother MC Breed!
I saw Breed dip into the Chi off and on when I was production director at the old Rap Radio/WJPC back between 1992 and 1994. My radio mentor Pinkhouse [RIP] brought Breed into the studio an we ‘broke bread’. Talk about a fella that was true to his city even though he made it on the national level.
RIP, brotha Breed. Your microphone of gold awaits you.
The world has gained another angel!!!!!2 da Breed Family we love u and living his dream….mimi from F-L-I-N-T!!!
Peoples of color especially need to listen to our bodies and take better care of ourseleves. Breed appeared to be active and athletic but didn’t heed the warning signals in time or ignored them. Let it be a lesson to us all because 36 yrs is not long on the earth. My heartfelt condolences to all family friends and others who were near and dear to him. Its shameful to lose someone so soon due to one not having the healthcare they need.
what is going on our people need to wake up life is too short my heart goes out to the breed family for their lost RIP Eric breed you will be miss but not forgotten we have lost another great one…..

I had the honor of meeting MR. E.B. in the early 90’s When he did a concert in Mansfield, Ohio (before I Got a job in the industry).
If you are asking “where is Mansfield, Ohio” ? thats my whole point.
even though Mansfield is a small town, and the concerts promoter did not have all the money Mr. Breed still showed up. and after the concert he took my demo. I did not get a call back but he gave me hope, He did not turn my group back.
May god bless the Breed Family
