How in the world is these kids going hungry? Well it’s time that whatever your community is, get together and feed one another. If brenda across the street got some bread, sophia next door got the meat, and lillian got the vegetable. Put that together and feed the children. When I was in florida I create programs for kids and held big block parties just for kids and feed everyone in the community (mostly children) once a month. It’s hard out there when you’re making $6.55 per hour with three diplomas in the business field. I had to resort to cleaning behinds to partially survive. Jobs in my field are very hard to find in my town.

Some may be offended by what I said but I am school teacher and I see parents everyday wearing 200.00 jeans but they are filling out free lunch forms to feed their kids. Its not right I have a job and I dont own a pair of 200.00 jeans.

Now I go into stores that have name brand but at a very cheap price like Plato’s closet. Even than when I shop in there it’s not the name brand I’m looking for I’m looking my type of style(the way the clothes look or fit on me). To get more deep into that I now am having thoughts of learning how to sew. I have a machine already and I believe I can save a lot of money like that.

Man these are hard times! Any one on this email could fall victim to this type of living. The US Economy is messed up for real. They gave Pres. THis scares me since I have 4 children. My oldest is 18 and had to move back in with me for 2 reasons. One he is having a hard time financially and 2 I left a domestic abiuse situation and need help with child care so he stepped up to the plate. I used to get welfare but I work and guess what I am struggling day to day. I didnt have enough to get home tonight so I have to beg for a ride home. It is getting wicked out here and I am scared of the crime rate will go up due to this.

well if the government stop looking at the gross of your income before taxes maybe some families could feed their kids………the government takes their share of your income before you can feed your family……..this is why people can’t afford to feed them, food stamps should be given to a family based on what they bring home after taxes instead of before taxes……..$500.00 is taken out of my income before i can feed my three children……..i go to bed wtithout meals so my kids can eat……

people don’t sell foodstamps because they don’t have any thing else to do.some times they need the extra money to pay to keep lights on,soap to take showers with and so on. it’s hard out there you have to do what ever it takes to make sure not only you eat but also have and beable to take care of your family.

This is happening while tonnes of surplus grain are being dumped into the sea by the “west” in order for their farmers not to go broke (they are subsidized by the government), and lets not get into trade bans and all that kind of stuff in which developing countries aren’t allowed the export their products as it is heavily scrutinized and predominantly deemed unhealthy to pass quality control, therefore crippling them as all they can do is import goods at extortion prices without selling anything. Hmmmm…greedy? i think so.

Johanna are you upset about something. hay I am a receptionist and my husband lost his job and yes at one point i had to ask for help , to feed my son and daughter, and when the gas prices was high it was very hard for me, and I dont have anything( clothing) that cost $200.00 thats crazy. I dress my son well and he understand cost and waht he cant have because of the price. Its alot of people out of work and its going to het harder for meny familys. I even got in line for a free turkey, and i am very thankful, we have dinner.just look out for one another.
