C’mon people this was a celebration. There was a concert to honor the 1st black president and Jeezy had this song long before Obama won the election. Jay hopped on the remix to pay homage and you can’t knock the hustle. I haven’t seen the footage from the concert, but if either one of these dudes (Jeezy or Jay) referred to the President as “my n*gga” or something, it was not an insult. Sometimes I call my peeps “my n*gga” to show love. While I can understand why some of you felt like it was inappropriate, IT’S RAP MUSIC PEOPLE!!!
Also as a final note, people like O’Reilly and the pople at fox news are already calling the President a N*gger!! And it’s not to show love!!!

It’s definitely a debatable issue. The term was given to AA’s as a derogatory term and for some it has come full circle. It has indeed turned into an endearing/loving term!!
