NAACP Convention Begins in Cincinnati, Ohio

This year’s Convention is themed “Power, Justice, Freedom, Vote,” begins today in Cincinatti, Ohio, and as always, will include delegate meetings, inspirational speakers, important discussions about minorities in business and the economy, youth programs and much more, according to the nation’s oldest civil rights organization. About 8,000 delegates are expected to attend the event being held at the Duke Energy Center in renovating downtown Cincinnati. The City, whose Mayor Mike Mallory is African American, expects to generate an estimated $10 million from hotel room charges, meals, tips and other tourism-related activities. Both presidential candidates, senators John McCain and Barack Obama, will speak at the event.

Bro Jay needs to learn to express his ignorant views a little more eloquently.
“Uncle Tom” is a hateful word which belongs on the same list of foul terms such as the “N-word.”

John McCain at the NAACP – Bush never showed up. Is this just a ploy to show “I did show up for the Black people”. Bush never cared ifi he got the vote or not.. I really don’t think he cares, if he gets the vote either. It’s just a political move.

I will comment on this one after I see or read the speeches, especially McCain’s.
