This same realestate problem occurred in 1994. I was a victim of that .Half poor financial advise, poor lending pratices, and the up-side effect of a homes worth. The later part of 1993 found us selling our 1st home and upgrading to a better property. The new home sold for 210,000.00 within 6 months, the properties in the neighbor were selling for 180,000 and they continued to go lower.
The only thing that makes what is happening now different, is it’s messing with two many white folks money.

I too have fallen prey to Wells Fargo and in the process of dealing with them on a foreclosure. I was paying them and they wouldn’t accept a late payment which I had the money. They put me in foreclosure unecessary. They’ve been hard on Blacks than Whites. Another thing they have been doing to us is tacking on excessive fees. At that rate you will never be caught up. They blanketed the city with People refinancing loans hoping to cash in on us. It back fired. This have been one of the company that’s not trying to help people in foreclosure. But they have their bailout money…

We as blacks, are known to live way beyond are means simply to impress others. Also we purchase things with out looking at all the different options. Think about it you make 30-40,000 a year and you buy a 90,000 house and a 20-30,000 car. We need to stop blaming the white man and live within our means. Stop tryin to keep up with the JONESSSS.
