I have read most of the comments posted and some had good points while others not. The fact of the matter is this country needs change. Every persons that is running for office goal should be to help make this country better not tearing one another down. Obama will be elected and not selected like some we know. America would have to get use to a different face in the spotlight. If Obama was white would White or Black American had much to say. Did we as a people go after Bush when he did not follow through what he said he stood for , “no.” American people are so hypocritical. Bush has ruin so many lives and everybody who followed him. Think about the troops who died to fight for this country. We in a war that was never really our war. Look gas prices, healthcare, homelessness, poverty, etc. No one man can do alone not Obama not Mc Cain or anyone else for that matter. This country have to pull together to make the best of it. No one has control over his or her own skin color or any other traits. Foolish of an individual to pin point someone to color. Black people are beautiful, intelligent, creative but if they are not given the same opportunity would you really know. Obama is one man, but God is superior of us all. Pray for change. The one thing America is resistant to is change. Change is constant. Our forefathers are not in question anymore because some issues and circumstances are no longer incongruent to thier plan of action. Do your own research. We dont have a justice system , but a legal system. For those who say Obama is not going to do this or that is immature. For those or are depending upon the government to feed you, clothe you are the ones who dont have a education and misinformed. Pray for this country because we sure need it.

Its funny how Ralph’s words can be so easily taken out of context and distorted. It has nothing to do with color it has to do with the “white” corporate power and Barrack will do nothing to stop that. I don’t understand this “Talking White” business. I am an African-American woman who has grown up and still resides in the “hood”. Obama doesn’t talk “white” – he speaks proper english. Grow up people! All African-Americans/Blacks do not use slang, we all do not gang-bang and carry weapons, we all do not collect welfare and so on. There are all types of African-Americans from the low-incomed to the mighty rich. Stop assuming that all of us that are low-incomed speak and act a certain way because it is not true. I am voting for Obama because I believe he can make a change. People want to know if he can lead. Look at how many years Bush has been surrounded by politics – his father was the President – and I still don’t consider him a good leader. So I am taking my chances with Obama.

Barrack cares about big money, not those who are in poverty. Why oppose a single payer health care system?
