Nader Has More Race Words For Obama
August 7th, 2008In June he said Barack was “talking White.” Now he says the Democrat is not a good Black candidate.
Independent presidential candidate Ralph Nader, who a couple months ago chided Sen. Barack Obama for “talking White,” said Wednesday that Obama would not make the kind of Black president he was hoping for. “People who have fought the civil rights battle – politically, economically, legally – as we have since the ’50s would often talk about, ‘Look what would happen if we had an African-American president or chairpersons of major congressional committees,’” said Nader. “It doesn’t look like it’s going to be what we all thought it would be. … I lost respect for him when I saw him over a year ago on C-SPAN vigorously opposed to the impeachment of Bush and Cheney – vigorously opposed. He said it would be ‘divisive’. That is a cop-out word. We have the most multiple impeachable presidency in American history.” Nader was speaking to the media during a breakfast hosted by the Christian Science Monitor. In June, Nader blamed Obama with assuaging “White guilt” by ignoring issues of race and poverty. Nader, who enjoyed a long reign as nation’s most respected consumer advocate – that was until he lost favor among many Democratic voters by drawing just enough votes in the 2000 election to knock Al Gore out of presidential contention – has been outspoken about Obama’s new stance on drilling for offshore oil.
Nader… you will catch more bees with honey than you will with Shi*! Of course the man cant go barging into the white house like a member of the New World Black Power Association. We forget this man is running for president not the president of black people. Lets just pray that he makes good on his presidential platform and enforce policies that could be beneficial to all minorities, the poor, and the working class. He wants change for all of America not just Black people.

It’s but to make me sick with folks trying to do all they can to make it seems as though Obama can’t do this Job…the PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA. Stop all the mess and let this man go for it. Obama will make a great president of this country. I think most folks ….both balcks and whites are just really Jealous or something. I really can’t figure whats driving folks to be so afriad of Obama becoming President. Maybe it’s because hes so well liked by so many both foreign and domestic. Maybe it’s because he knows what he doing and talking about…don’t kno what they so afraid of ….but let this be known to all the scareddy cats….lol….Obama will be president…like it or not. YES WE CAN….THIS IS OUR MOMENT!!! GO OBAMA OUR NEXT PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA
I agree with Miz J, its hard enough being black and told that you are not black enough or do not speak “black”. Choose the right candidate based on the issues you care about, not because of race. If Obama was white, would black people still vote for him. Agreed this is a big accomplishment for African Americans, but let this not be the only reason you are voting, that then makes you hypocritical when it comes to the race card being played for other aspects in our lives and communities. If this man is powerful enough to get young people to vote and old people back to the polls who probably havent voted since the 70’s or 80’s, I say he is the best candidate because he brings a sense of hope to a nation that is fastly approaching its doom!
People this is not about race,it’s about who’s the best candidate…and Obama is…period.
Who the hell is Nader to decide who is or isn’t a good “Black” candidate? Who appointed him as spokesperson for what we want or need? Like someone else said, he needs to crawl under a rock and stay there.

Read between the lines, Democrat voters, this is the number one tactic for the Republican party. They know if they bring about fear, it turns into doubt. If we can just stay focused on whats important. Now that Obama has proven himself, and become a very good influence for all races, his ratings are picking up tremendously. It has to be this way. its all predestined. The last shall be first, and the first shall be last. YES WE CAN, VOTE FOR OBAMA? SAY IT LOUD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Ralph Nader’s war in words against Obama is expected. Nader is out of the 2008 presidential election, so he needs to release his agony of defeat on Obama. What the freak! What does it mean to talk white, I am sick of people saying that. We DO NOT talk white, we talk right! Obama is Obama, since he has been on the platform he has been his self. I respect him for that! I am sick and tired of black people putting each other down, because we may act or do things a different way.
We are the only race the will tear each other down. We are like a bunch of crabs, refusing to help each other up and out the slumps. I wish would could wake up and see the light!
