Nas To Fight Kelis Spousal Support

Lawyers representing Nas (Nasir Jones) have filed paperwork to put a stop to Kelis’ spousal support.

The ongoing case of Nas and Kelis and continues. Contrary to popular demand, the two have not reconciled their differences as Nas is now in the process of trying to block Kelis’ request for $72, 728 a month in spousal support.
News came as it was reported that his lawyer, Mark Vincent Kaplan, had filed court papers Monday.
Back in August, Laura Wasser, the attorney for Kelis, filed a motion seeking the final proposed amount above which she based off the reported monthly income of Nasir stating that he made $240,000 a month. Along with that, she was also seeking $17,225 in child support monthly, $29, 522 in back child support and $281, 517 in retro spousal support.
How can this woman ask for $29,522 in back child support when the child wasn’t even born yet. I wonder if a court will actually grant that kind of request. It’s one thing when the child is already living. If half of these celebrity wives and girlfriends had to live off the child support of us regular women, they would definitely shut their mouthes and be thankful for what they get.

I believe the document that this information comes from is old…because the child is 4 months now yet it states that he is 2…I believe they really have reconciled & someone just got ahold of old info & ran with it. Good luck to them, they are a beautiful couple.
