It was a set-up for black people to move out of Oakland. Since the redevelopment of West oakland. The plan was to make it convienient to those who work and lived in san francisco and surrounding areas to live where its affordable for them. That also brought with it $$$$$$$ for the city Oakland . That’s when oakland homes and rentals sky rocketed and The plan was to push black folks out. Yea there is crime here, but, you tell me where there is no crime along with social economics. I’m not using social economics as an excuse…. believe it. I’m living it clearly!

See we’re the first to leave when things don’t work for us, instead of fight ( and I don’t mean physically but mentally) We need to be at those meetings when they are making laws that will and are going to use us as ponds

I live in Oakland and like anywhere else it has it’s problems, it’s a beautful city. A lot of people left to go to places like Tracy, Stockton, and other places when the housing market was good, now that their house out there isn’t worth much they want to come back. We need to pray for our city and our children.

I agree with you Barbara, I am from Oxnard, CA and I wanted my son to see 21 so I left. I just went back to bury my dad and I felt like I was in Mexico. I read the paper in Oxnard and everyday its killings. I know if it is bad in Oxnard, it has too be worst in Oakland. I always thought I would go back to Oxnard someday but they can have it.

Well that’s a lot of black people but lord know’s that we don’t need LATINOS stepping in cause it’s bad that there every where as it is in TEAXS,CALIFORINA, and now OAKLAND now that’s just too much me personaly i would like to live some where, where there’s no LATINOS maybe ALASKA.

i’am a black french citizen and ask sarkozy to re-droop our troops from afghanistan no no no nom now re-droop our droop.
first we need more people on the ground and second Paris have too much muslin and arabic and india people and more others. no no no.
i’am sick and tied about some gouvernement they even ask the people of the country first what they think and just do things by their own way no.no.
sarkozy whatever where you are ,you must re-droop the troops back home.
and second 8 months ago i been discriminated by the customs in miami and canada to n.york they did not let’s me in ,telling i need a visas and europpenne don’t need visas to get in usa. they mess up my passport. this suck animals people. midence and cruz and louis .airport miami.june 2.no war afghanistan no no .

I fully agree with SendEmBack. The neighborhood I grew up in now makes me feel like the person from another country. I had hopes of returning and buying my parents old home, but now I’d never live there. The music, the kids running around like ants, and so many cars you can’t find a place to park. I’m gonna stay where I am til they run me outta here, cuz their coming in my new neighborhood now too!
