The New York Times is calling “Chocolate News, scheduled to premiere in the fall, a “tongue in cheek version of NBC’s dateline.” David Alan Grier, 53, former star of the popular ‘90’s sketch comedy show “In Living Color” will host the show that will make fun of the news from an African-American perspective. Producers are staking their hopes on an Obama presidency. “That would be a huge windfall culturally and comedically,” Grier, a grad of Yale Drama School, told the New York Times.
DOJ Employee Sues Federal Government
Joi Hyatte, an African-American employee in the Justice Department’s embattled civil rights division, is ironically suing the government agency for repeated discrimination and harassment through the U.S District Court inWashington. The claim states that Hyatte and other African American employees were subjected to “numerous forms of discrimination and harassment.” She says the the DOJ used special hiring policies to avoid promoting African Americans to the level of analyst. Hyatte has worked for the agency for 13 years.
Hopefully, Joi Hyatte and other african americans can make a difference. But, unfortuately, especially for African Americans when dealing with the federal government or any other agency it’s a lot of red tape when it comes to promotions, as well as hiring.
When using special hiring policies, they not only look at the experience, but do we have the education, that is one of their loopholes.

Comedy central is the most racist programming in the world.I know it will be another cooing buffooning show depicting Black people as ignorant foolish childish people.The timing of this show is to discredit a serious chance for a Black man to win the White house.
