Daughter of Slaves is Oldest Woman
An African-American daughter of former slaves is now the world’s oldest woman, according to Guinness World Records. One-hundred-fourteen-year-old Gertrude Baines, a Los Angeles resident, was born to former slaves in a small town near Atlanta in 1894. Read what she thinks about President-elect Barack Obama here.

4-year-old Shoots His Brother
A 4-year-old Ohio boy, angered after his teenage brother stepped on his foot, went to his bedroom, retrieved a shotgun and blasted his brother, The Columbus Times-Dispatch reports. The boy announced that he was going to get a get a gun, but everybody thought he was talking about a toy, a sheriff’s spokesman told the newspaper. Instead, he returned with the real thing and shot 17-year-old Nathan Beavers in the arm. More details on the shocking crime here.

I THINK Gina Leigh’s point is that we don’t need to entertain his ignorance. For all you know she could be right. I think alot of these people just make blank statements to see how many people they can get a rise out of. ANYWAY what a blassing it is to have so many years of life.
