Some people aren’t too happy with Verizon Wireless who has given a distribution deal to White guy who’s running a video blog called “TechNigga,” EUR reports. Loren Feldman, of 1938 Media, has drawn the ire of such critics as Najee Ali, of Project Islamic Hope, and Paul Porter, of Industry Ears, among other activists. They want Lowell C. McAdam, president and CEO of Verizon Wireless, to stop giving Feldman a forum for what they say is blatant racism. “Feldman has a history of using the internet to promote racism and demeaning and negative racial stereotypes against African Americans on his internet site. He is responsible for and appears in what he calls ‘TechNigga,’” Ali told EUR in a statement. “Verizon CEO Lowell C. McAdam needs to demonstrate that Verizon understands they should demonstrate corporate responsibility and will not tolerate racism, or bigotry. The Verizon distribution deal with Feldman sends a horrible message that Verizon seeks to partner with racists like Feldman and that Verizon and CEO McAdam find nothing offensive with ‘TechNigga.’ Our community nationwide should.” Ali is urging everyone to call Lowell C. McAdam and let him know that you will boycott Verizon unless this distribution with Feldman is severed. There are plans for an upcoming national day of protest against Verizon stores nationwide if our calls for a meeting and our demands are not met.”

The fire caused about $250 in damage, but it could have been worse, says Officer James T. Reese and Fire Marshals Edwin Ortiz and Harold Emerson, noting that his actions could very well have killed the four people who slept inside during his 1:30 a.m. escapade. His charges include arson, reckless endangerment, and criminal mischief. He is also charged with perpetrating a hate crime.
I agree triciap. But lets also remember that Verizon has purchased Alltel. Both should be BOYCOTTED. This is so senseless and irresponsible

i wasn’t offended when i saw is because some videos are like that and people dance to them. its wrong i agree the image has to change in how we see each other in our own race but still don’t let them media 138 to dirty because jews lived in a ghetto too. or the other ones might look at the sarcasm in adult cartoon and children watch it to American dad and Simpson’s and family guy the list goes on writers across the board needs to be censored some what to what goes on television for the image of color
I really like to first appreciate each and every one’s comments and I too stand besides you in the fight aganist any form of bigotry, racism or any form of discriminatory towards any race. So yes we need to boycott or protest in front of each Verison store in every city until this matter is resolved.
Minority America? Why not anyone who doesn’t support racism? I am a white female, and I sure as hell am not racist and if i had verizon they’d be gone in a heartbeat. And perpetrate means that the person committed the crime…the term is def. not just used for white people, although there are some people within the judicial system that are racist.

I am white and I am an Obama supporter, but some of you are just crazy….if you seriously believe Obama is going to change life for the average black person, let alone the average ANY person, you are all going to seriously be disappointed. You know ever since NWA came out, the word n…..has been used by all races. Rush Limbaugh had a field day with it, yet there was no national uproar. I am not a Verizon user but I support a national boycott against them for condoning blatant racism, however we as Black people need to refrain from using this very word in our music, media, rap, movies and even against one another, otherwise it gives license to other races to use the word as if WE condone its usage.
Maybe once Verizon knows how much this has hurt others ..then they may make a change on this mistake. It really don’t matter which company one may change to…probably some folks there with the same mind as the folks at Verizon. Theres no where to run or hide from racism…just need to put it in check. Racism is rampant…even comes in our own black race. I want discontinue usin Verizon on this account. If this article is true…I can only hope Verizon gets it right. LETS LOVE GOD PEOPLE!!!

What’s ironic about the whole thing is from the name Loren Feldman it would appear that he’s Jewish. Now that would be a contradiction in terms if it’ turns out to be true. I saw the techn…a video and was not at all shocked because I recognize that black people are hated on all over the world. To add insult to injury is the fact that the CEO of Verizon Lowell C. McAdam would be a part of and allow such hatred to publicized. This is not a mistake on his part either and he’s just as guilty. If we don’t respect ourselves then who will?
