Ne-Yo Addresses Gay Rumors After PEOPLE Comment

The “gentleman” of R&B has responded to the latest gossip and, he says, misinterpretation of comments he recently made to People magazine about his ATL neighbor Young Jeezy. Ne-Yo’s Web-issued statement reads in part: “One rule of being a gentleman is to keep your cool and composure at all costs, but right about now, I gotta loosen up this tie and take off this expensive suit jacket and talk to the people for a minute…Pardon my French, but what the f–k is wrong with y’all?!…I understand that a hater’s job is to hate, clearly. But it’s when people start feeding into what a hater is saying that something must be addressed…I tell People magazine that Young Jeezy’s crib is right next to mine and that, once, I saw him in there from across the way. I then make a JOKE about him maybe not wanting to walk around naked in his crib with the shades up ‘cause the buildings are THAT close to each other, and that AIN’T something I care to see. Suddenly, everybody thinks I said I saw Young Jeezy in his crib naked when NEVER ONCE did I say anything like that.” And there’s much, much more at Ne-Yo’s MySpace spot.

People that think that Ne-yo can really sing, have serious musical issues. First of all, he is 80% studio, second, he can sing compared to what and who, Kanye? He is a performer and a good writer, thats been proven, but a singer, hellll naw. His vocals are weak to say the least. But too each his own. Learn what real talent is. Ask your parents.

Ne-yo’s right! haterz are always out to get you. they would make up any nasty rumor just to spoil your reputation. Ne-yo is a great artist so those of you who are jealous just keep your comments to yourself and let the man be.
i respect neyo, however, i do think dude is sweet! He be dancing ’round all nimbly bimly. I think he wears cherry lip balm too, his lips look too pink. He’s a lyrical mad man, and again i respect him, but truth b told. . . HE’S SWEET!

I don’t know if Ne-Yo is gay, straight, or bisexual. What I do know is that he is talented, has an amazing voice and stage presence, and that he is God’s child. So I believe we should stay out of his business, mind our own and worry about our own skeletons.
So what if he was. When will that kind of stuff stop being an issue. Live and Let Live.
Dang, you can’t even be different without people labeling you gay. Ne-Yo is not gay. He has his own unique style & I love it. Ne-Yo let them haters hate, that’s their pathetic job, just do your job & keep creating great music.
you know what? after reading a couple of post, there’s alot of gay men on here. but as far as neyo goes, if he says he isn’t gay then we have to respect that and move on.
