Ne-Yo Addresses Gay Rumors After PEOPLE Comment

The “gentleman” of R&B has responded to the latest gossip and, he says, misinterpretation of comments he recently made to People magazine about his ATL neighbor Young Jeezy. Ne-Yo’s Web-issued statement reads in part: “One rule of being a gentleman is to keep your cool and composure at all costs, but right about now, I gotta loosen up this tie and take off this expensive suit jacket and talk to the people for a minute…Pardon my French, but what the f–k is wrong with y’all?!…I understand that a hater’s job is to hate, clearly. But it’s when people start feeding into what a hater is saying that something must be addressed…I tell People magazine that Young Jeezy’s crib is right next to mine and that, once, I saw him in there from across the way. I then make a JOKE about him maybe not wanting to walk around naked in his crib with the shades up ‘cause the buildings are THAT close to each other, and that AIN’T something I care to see. Suddenly, everybody thinks I said I saw Young Jeezy in his crib naked when NEVER ONCE did I say anything like that.” And there’s much, much more at Ne-Yo’s MySpace spot.

He makes great music. Sad people have nothing better to do but judge. Only one being has the right to do that.
It could be good for Ne-Yo or any other guy if he’s gay. I’m a straight man and all. But sometimes it seems that it would be easier to be a little less attracted to women. Quite often women- especially the black ones don’t even talk to you like you’re human. Lusting after black women with s****y-rude attitudes and trying to beg them for one-on-one sex when many of them like to get trains ran on them is tiring and doesn’t even feel worth the effort anymore.
