N.Y. Bakery Makes “Drunken Negro Face” Cookies to Honor Obama

Lafayette Franch Pastry, a New York bakery in Greenwich Village known for its tasty cookies and treats, is coming under fire for a tasteless and racist batch of chocolate treats called “Drunken Negro Head Cookies.” The cookies are dark brown with exaggerated facial features and cherry toppings. Ted Kefalinos, who first introduced the cookies on Martin Luther king Day last week, says he made the cookies to honor Obama. He also admits that he is not an Obama fan but thinks the cookies are a winner for him since every one in his first batch was sold. When customers asked Kefalinos why he made the cookies, he reportedly mentioned Obama and said the new President will “get his” just like Abraham Lincoln who inspires him. “I’m sorry that people were offended by the cookie,” says Kefalinos, who insists his product is not racist. No one got offended when he introduced “Dead Geese Bread” after a U.S. Airways plane crashed in the nearby Hudson River two weeks ago, he argues. Many New Yorkers plan to boycott the shop whose pastries were used in “Sex in the City” and Spike Lee’s “Jungle Fever.”
You know it is truly sad that every time you look up something negative is being done to try and degrade our people…as far as the embellished features of the cookie, you will never find a black person that looks like that and once more stop hating on us because in every fabric of existence our style, our flow our physical attributes and our INTELLIGENCE are coveted all across this world. People are paying big money from the lips down to the behind to look like us…I say this to say that if you can’t beat us cookie man you should joins because the majority of the world already has..so deal with it pilsbury dough jerk. I think someone should make a cookie of A jackass that owns a bakery that uses an IDIOTIC tactic to increase his sales during a recession that was caused by issues being overlooked by the president that he probably voted for…and besides cookie man you should embrace PRESIDENT OBAMA, he certainly can’t make it any worse, and did you know we are thinking of painting the “white house” BLACK!

I will pray for this man because he is TRUELY IGNORANT!!!!!!! Don’t give people like this no attention and they will go away and keep their thoughts to themselves or at least in the confides of their own home. Once we accept the fact that racism still lives in America, we will learn how not to allow Idiots such as this spinless individual affect our way of thinking. He’s reaching for ways to piss people off. Embrace this individual and show him that his way of thinking is of no importance, believe it and accept it, Obama, an African American resides in the White House. With or without his vote. So let him make and display all the cookies he wants, it will not change the 2009 Presidential choice – Barack Obama.
One other thing cookie man you may be the one to get yours WHEN the CIA invetigate your comment for the threat that it is. I wonder how people would react if an African American made a WRINKLED PALE FACE, BLUE EYED DEVIL PIE IN CELEBRATION OF BUSH LEAVING THE WHITE HOUSE??????? Well, we can blame the man that made the cookies, or we can look further into the fact that people bought them enough for them the sell out the first week. Its sad…but evidently the racism doesnt end with the baker…look at his surroundings.
