Obama’s Plotting Strategy For McCain
May 12th, 2008Clinton is battling the notion that she has lost before the race is officially over
As Sen. Barack Obama prepares to take on Sen. John McCain in the general election, he is working overtime to register as many Democrats as possible. On Saturday, Obama’s campaign, ignoring criticism that its candidate is being cocky by looking past Clinton , launched more than 100 voter registration sites nationwide. Meanwhile, his Democratic rival, Sen. Hillary Clinton spent the weekend telling voters in Oregon , West Virginia and Kentucky that their votes could help convince the super-delegates that she should be the Democratic nominee. Unfortunately for Clinton , it appeared that her message might be too late, as CNN announced Sunday that the New York senator had officially lost her super-delegate lead. Just three weeks ago, Clinton had 21 more super-delegates than her Democratic colleague from Illinois . The two candidates have 273 super-delegates apiece. Obama also leads by about 150 elected delegates, and he has won twice as many states and several hundred thousand more popular votes. After getting trounced by Obama in North Carolina a week ago and barely eking out a victory in Indiana – a state she was expected to win by a significant margin – she has also been drawing wide criticism after suggesting that she is a more attractive candidate to White voters. Some critics have called the comment racist and blamed Clinton for dividing her party along racial lines. Should Clinton give it up, or is she right to stick in the race?

she has every right to stay in the race…however, she’s only making herself look really desperate, and i think she’s being a sore loser..if barack were losing, they’d be pressuring HIM to drop out as well!!
not to mention, i feel that she’s purposely trying to damage obama, so he could possibly lose to mccain and she can then run again in 2012..she couldn’t care less about damaging the party..
Yes, she just being bitter.
If there is no chance for her to win, she should give up. To much time has past already, it’s time to prepare to run against MCCain.
I think hillary should stay in the race. I don’t think she should give up. she should stay to the end. Obama and her are both good candidates…and they both are going to put forth a cahnge in america…and I’m sure both of them have good ideas. they should honestly learn from each other and try to save america from going down the drain.
Natalie, it has been reported that she has no chance to win, so why continue? Okay she has proven that she does not give up easily, but she has also proven that she can be very bitter and not make good decisions, because she want stop, why continue to run when the race is over?
OF COURSE SHE HAS THE RIGHT, BUT SHE NEEDS TO HAVE SOME COMMON SENSE AND DROP OUT. NOT ONLY HAS SHE LOST, SHE IS DIVIDING THE DEMOCRATIC PARTY. IF SEN. MCCAIN WINS IN NOVEMBER HER CAREER IS OVER, I GUESS THAT’S WHAT SHE WANTS………………..
Guys, I think Hillary should just give up and get on the same ticket with Barak as his vice-president so that she can encourage her voters to vote for Barak. I think together they could be very powerful but Hillary cannot see that because she does not want to submit to a black man’s authority. It is really SAD!!!
She should quit. Would she still continue if her opponent were a white male? I guess not.I believieve that she still thinks that a black man is not ready to be president. How come that she has not supported the idea of running as his vice president?
Clinton is campaigning for McCain with this war with Obama. She is not looking to get the Republicans out of the White House away from the horrific mess that Bush has made but instead keeping the Democratic Party from coming together and healing so they can be ready for a decent run for the White House and CHANGE for the American Government and People. For Shame, For Shame. She hasn’t realized that she doesn’t have what Bill (Clinton) had to motivate and stay on track.
I THINK SHE SHOULD STAY AND KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK AFTER ALL SHE IS A WOMAN. LIKE ME I AM WITH HER ALL THE WAY AND EVERY THING SHE SAYS.
Although I support Obama for President, if Hillary feels she has a chance she should stay in. There is isn’t a reason for her to drop out-it isn’t over until it’s over. Hilary will stay in until August, because she really, really, feel that this is her time…
However, in my opinion “if” the Clintons get back in, it will be a disaster. It’s already been established that both Hill and Bill lie very easily and it will be Washington politics as usual…

Say It Loud…BARACK & I’M PROUD !!!!!!!!!!
I think honestly she has the right to stay in the fight. People are so strong that she is making it bad for the democratic party but I really believe they are preparing each other for the bigger race. I think No matter who wins democratic battle the people will come together and show that having a republican as the president is not the will of the majority. So a good fight I think helps give them both that edge to fight alittle harder during the general election.
My believe is that she is staying in just to try and pressure President Obama to help pay her debt and bços an aggreement could not be reached,as the debt is too much, she has then decided to punish Obama by continueing her campain.I only feel srry for the Democratic party,b’cos the Clinton do not realy care about the Party and anybody that belong to the Party,Thank God they have trully showed their true colour,so we all know who and how they think about US all. Thanks
She has a duty to fulfill by not backing out. Her supporters believe in her while she continues to trailblaze but knowing when to call it quits also shows a certain kind of acceptance and actualization of how far you’ve come and how much of a hard fought effort you’ve delivered and she should symbolize that by withdrawing from the primaries. Nobody would be dissappointed or dissatisfied. She fought tooth and nail and everyone will remember Hillary Clinton!
Hillary knows that she doesn’t stand a chance to win the nominee so why not drop out to save face. I believe that she is hoping that Obama will make her his VP but he will not. The reason being in order to change Washington you can’t have the Clintons on the ticket. Plus Bill would make it difficult for Obama to make the changes he sees fit. Bill and Hillary are sore losers who only cares about themselves. Obama needs someone who has his beliefs and ideas. Hillary is a divider and not a uniter. I am so glad that the American people can read through their bullsh*t; and know that they will say anything and do anything to win.
Hillary all you need to say is It’s all over. You fought a good fight, Now it’s Obama who I want for President.
