Wow!!! Why is everybody hating on Beyonce???? And I am sure everyone of you out there hating on her have EVERY SINGLE ON OF HER ALBUMS!!! It doesnt matter who sings, its gonna be Obamas choice……he may not want either one of them to sing so what in the world is the point of getting all worked up about it. This is going to be a historic event and all you all can do is worry about who is gonna sing. Get over yourselves!!!

If I’m looking at a singer at the event I want to be thinking class.If Beyonce sings I’ll be remembering her raunchy videos. While I believe Beyonce is classy in her personal time, she’s not classy on stage or in SOME of her videos. For some of her videos she is classy. I would like to see the Obama’s have people who conjure up the thought of class to sing at this event. People such as Celine Dion, Diana Ross, Alicia Keys (maybe cause most of the videos I’ve seen of hers are classy and soulful).

Beyonce is nothing but classy….Beyonce knows when to pull out her freakum dress and Oscar dress. If she did perform she would probably due this new patriotic song she covered!

Ya know what…why can’t John Legend perform? I think we are all thinking so “inside the box” that we are forgetting what is important, the election. There is no one else that I would love to hear besides JHud, but let’s keep it real, there are others who are good and qualified to sing. I feel that Jenifer would be a better choice for the type of event that is going to happen. She is a very classy young lady and worked hard to get where she is. There is nothing classy about Beyonce, I think that she only wants to shake her but. Do not get me wrong she has great songs, but sometimes you need a pause from shaking your but all the time. The reality sets in that there is a time and place for everything. Beyonce displays that she will be nothing w/o the body that she has. She pretends to be confindent but take away her but and hips and shape her like the AVERAGE person and see how many people admire her then . I think on a small level that she a a fake. I do not know that Jenifer feels as insecure a Be, Jenifer like any ohter person that made it to the top lost weight(yes), but she also shows that she did this to boost her confidence and be able to get into her performances more. After what she has been through she will probablt write a inspirational song that so many ordinary people can relate to.

I THINK SOMEONE WHO HAS PAVED A WAY IN THE MUSIC INDUSTRY WHO HAS FOUGHT ADVERSITY ON ALL LEVELS, COLOR BARRIERS, ETC TO ACHIEVE FAME……DIANNA ROSS. ………A TRUE LADY WHO HAS REPRESENTED THE BLACK WOMAN FOR A LONGGGGGGG TIME. RAISED SUCCESSFUL CHILDREN AND HAS CROSSED THE RACE BARRIER. SHE DESERVE TO BE THE ONE TO SING AT THIS ‘HISTORICAL’ EVENT.

I think it should be Alicia Keyes or some true jazz diva, someone with class like Erykah Badu or Lizz Wright. These singers all have class, have built long, respectable careers. I am tired of ghetto and that’s what both of these Diva’s are. They are both very excellent in their said genre’s, but this is a new Era, we want intelligent African Americans with class and ethics. Keyes has several charities, she is a genius, her lyrics could be poems, unlike Beyonce’s.

I know there’s always going to be someone to sing at the Inauguration, but still remember, “Our President is Black” and he is going to make a lot of changes in in the United States, because Bush never did one thing for us so let’s worry about how life is going to be without Bush, and how it’s gonna be with Obama. The 5 minute song will be alright but our life is going to be alright too, since ‘BUSH WILL BE GONE”. If they can’t figure out who is going to sing, I can sing, what difference do it make. Let’s watch our new President and watch our sorry ass President Bush go out. That’s all that matter. We all put Obama in and he is going to make a CHANGE so that’s all that matter. Even though the Obama’s have a young daughter whose nickname is Sasha, I don’t think “Sasha Fierce” is someone they would want to introduce their daughters to. They represent the refreshing and more meaningful side of the American Dream, especially for the African American race – where education and hard work are in the forefront. Beyonce says she has worked hard, but at the end of the day, dancing, booty shakin, half-dressin does nothing for our society. We should all teach our children a better way. Jennifer would bring MUCH more class. Her singing has meaning, and she knows who God is. He is the one that should get the glory, and I think Jennifer would give it to Him. Beyonce is just trying to add more to her millions. It’s not all about her.

Beyonce needs to fall back and sit down. Jennifer is the better singer and actress. The only thing beyonce has on her is the dancing. I’m sick of Beyonce, maybe now is the time for her to focus on sterting a family and chillin out.
