As pressure mounted against the makers of dolls named after the Obama girls, the company announced Tuesday that it would strike the names “Marvelous Malia” and “Sweet Sasha” from its Ty Girlz collection. I buy these dolls i think michelle over reacted because they are not going to get pay out of it im sure the dolls names boosted their sells but any one worthy of recognition always has a toy after them haulk hogan, katie perry, brandy, kimora lee simmons, they even have freakin FBI dolls, They were not exploiting them just giving them recognition and a business move

I went to the website and although I think the concept of the dolls is really cute, I tend to agree w/ the First Lady. There are about 20 dolls and none of them are African American. It is pretty obvious that they were trying to take advantage of the new First Kids.

I agree with Michell Obama for taking a stand on the dolls. The company was trying to make a quick buck on dolls that look nothing like the Obama girls. .
